Reading: hamlet (idk how many times I’ve read it now, but I got it on audio book at the library so I’m reading it again!)

Last series: taskmaster (just started watching it, absolutely love it!!!!! It’s so so so funny)

Last film: good omens finale (I want to cry. Both in a good way and a bad way)

Last song: when I went home (it’s a cut song from the original peter pan stage musical soundtrack. I’ve been listening to the whole thing on loop as I’ve been doing summer spring cleaning, just like Wendy Darling! I listened to it on loop when I was 4-5 years old and I’m surprised at how much I remember. I like peter pan a little too much. If I were to ever do musical theatre, peter would be my dream role)

Sweet or salty: salty! I recently had a bag of really bad salted licorice, which is sort of both. I usually LOVE salted licorice, but idk something was off about this bag and it tasted a bit bad

More lore:

This parasite actually drove all remaining humans to live in a city isolated under a big bubble. The lower city is comprised of tightly packed together buildings, LOTS of people, and most of the city’s “ugly” parts. Stretching high above, are tall tree-like towers meant to mimic and work with nature. This is where the city’s more well off live. Kairo was the architect who designed some of them.

The parasite that drove everyone away feeds off the host’s brain as they slowly get more erratic, then go crazy and eventually turn into basically a mindless zombie before dying. The parasite uses this energy to grow then multiply.

When people fled from areas inhabited by the parasite, nature eventually took over, only leaving behind ruins of old human settlements. Some people live out there, not many though. And they’re all pretty skilled at living on their own as most of their families just never moved to the bubble city. They don’t take kindly to people from there.

After a freak accident, Kairo ended up outside the bubble, and since he was contaminated, he wasn’t allowed back in. :0

My thoughts on the ending of Good Omens Finale.

I LOVED IT!! It wasn't what I was expecting but I don't hate it at all. The way Crowley and Aziraphale sacrificed themselves to ask God for a new universe was something I never saw coming but I'm glad it happened. I really loved the human versions of them. My favorite part is at the very end when they are sitting outside together stargazing. When they HOLD HANDS AHHHH so adorable. I loved this show so much and I hate to see it go. But stories have to come to an end at some point. I will miss Crowley and Aziraphale but I'm glad that it ended the way it ended.
