THIS IS A POST ABOUT GOATS!!
Hartford Courant, Connecticut, March 9, 1906
the reboot girlies
let me know if you'd like a closer look at anything, i can post some detail shots!
I saw a bumper sticker and thought “is that seductive Daffy Duck” and then when I looked closer I realized it was actually a fishing bumper sticker but also. also it is still very much seductive Daffy Duck???? somehow????????
im obsessed with the world of donkey kong, where the "barrel" is an abstracted, functionless object that seems to just manifest in the wild
Me at all fantasy RPGs:
“ah but they can interbreed” its fantasy motherfucker, you can get a cow pregnant in the age of myth.
That being said I think the reason "species" isn't used is that it doesn't really sound old timey enough. That's some charles darwin shit, would feel wrong in the mouth of a medieval peasant. Maybe "Kin" or "Folk" might be better?
D&D actually does use Species these days, though i agree it sounds too modern and clinical for a traditional fantasy setting. Kin, Ancestry, and Lineage are all ones that I've seen used in other games; Blood is the one I use for my own game system.
you will never in a million years guess what the next line is if you've never seen the OVA this is from.
#hint: it's the 'is this the episode where he loses the house' OVA
THE WHAT-
Yknow, this one
A poor investment
Holy shit I’m a woman
Honeybee Remix:
I think this idea of transfems can only be safe around transfems is... I mean it's a problem because it's false, right, someone being the same demographic as you is no guarantee that they won't be toxic or abusive. And if you're restricting your social groups based on criteria like that, you'll have less options, you'll be more isolated, you'll be more reliant on fewer people and thus more vulnerable to abuse. The safety is an illusion.
Reddit user Mixel34P created a website to see if every Pokemon is someone's favorite:
Declare your favorite Pokémon and help fill our collective Pokédex! Discover which Pokémon are loved by trainers worldwide.
At this point every Pokemon has been claimed, but I highly recommend checking it out and reading through the comments on your favs
fun fact: that baby shoes story is mistakenly attributed to hemingway. similar stories showed up as early as 1906, when hemingway would have been around seven
damn i can't believe his writing was this fire when he was seven
