This could be related to any holidays your ships celebrate. If so, what do they do? Do they all celebrate together? How do they coordinate between families who gets what date? Or perhaps you could focus on how your ships schedule their dates, chores, and lives together. Do they have a shared calendar or is one of them more intense, keeping everything tightly organized for everyone? What special dates do they have a reminders for? Does one of them keep forgetting important dates and does this create issues? If so, how do they make up for it? What about people booked up if they're too busy? This could also be taken as having different calendars like the Jewish calendar or the Chinese calendar. Or you can take it in a different direction, characters comparing social calendars, academic calendars, sports calendars, etc.

We will reblog any polyam-positive fanworks featuring polyamorous ships of any configuration/type from any fandom. All ratings are welcome but anything nsfw/triggery should be warned for and behind a read more, as should very long tumblr fic.

Hurt and Comfort is a fanwork genre that includes the physical pain or emotional discomfort of one character, who is then cared for by another character or by themselves.
This bingo event is for creators who wish to create under this genre! It can also be used to explore variations of it, such as Hurt No Comfort, and Comfort No Hurt.
But all in all, how Hurt and Comfort is defined is up to you! You can go all out on the pain, or the caretaking, many forms of it are welcome here.

As the winner of September's competition, @ialwayscomewhenyoucall gets to choose the theme for November, and they've chosen Taylor Swift! Thanks to season 10, we know Dean is a bit of a Swiftie. Whether you have characters listening to Taylor Swift music, write a fic inspired by a Taylor Swift song, or include Taylor Swift herself in your fic is entirely up to you, as long as Taylor Swift is part of your story in some way.

This panfandom Bingo challenge is to celebrate Hanukkah on its own terms and give Jewish characters and fans a place to breathe. :)

FAQ's
Why aren't there 31 prompts this year? Because I'm changing it up to something a little less overwhelming for you and me. Fill all the days, and if you're still hungry for more, send me a message and let me know it wasn't enough so I can take that into account for next year!
I posted my work and you haven't reblogged it. What did I do wrong? Probably nothing. I may have just missed it, which will happen. The good news is, it's up to you to include your work in an archive this year, so be sure to do that! Also be sure to tag it correctly using #suptober23, and the day you're fulfilling.
I'm really busy in October, can I post it later? Yes! The collection won't close.
I can't write or draw, is there another way I can participate? Yes, you can support all the creators by liking, commenting, and reblogging their work. It's just as important as the things being posted. Also, I bet you'll soon realize you absolute can make art and write too! There's no skill level required to have fun.
How long do the stories need to be? There's no word length just be sure to make a good effort, and challenge yourself.
Can I include multiple days in one fic? Sure, but don't post early, and be sure to tag for each day both here on tumblr (if you're posting to tumblr) and on Ao3. In the past, people have used each prompt as a new chapter, and that works great for a cohesive project!
Can I repost the prompt list with my posts? Yep. Go ham. Use at will.

Registration for the 2024 Dean/Cas Pinefest is now open!
Now entering its eighth year, the Pinefest is an annual big-bang style challenge for artists and authors in the Supernatural fandom.
Authors are invited to submit Dean/Cas fics with a strong focus on pining, and artists are then given the chance to create accompanying artworks for a fic (or fics) of their choice.
Registration will remain open until August 31st for authors, with fic drafts and claims information due by December 1st.
Artists may continue to sign up until December 3rd, and will have several days to peruse all available fics ahead of anonymous claims on December 9th.

New for 2023: The Dean Winchester Big Bang: Mini Edition
Are you ready Dean-lovers? Grab your pens and pencils and join us in celebrating our beloved Dean!
This year’s round will only include one track: mini bang
Which means:
Fanfic: minimum of 5k words
Fanart: minimum of 1 art piece and a post banner
There is no maximum though, so if you want to write a 15k, 40k, 100k long fics and make a ton of art, you’re more than welcome to!

Yeehawgust features daily art prompts as well as alternative weekly prompts, for those of us who are a bit slower on the draw. Don’t draw at all? No problem! Submit any art at all, be it illustration, comics, writing, fanfiction, photography, embroidery, sculpture, music, or whatever other creative endeavors you might enjoy. All skill levels are welcome, and this can be a great opportunity to experiment with new styles and techniques.
