Dating V headcannons
-Big lips. Good for kissing.
-No, seriously though, this dude is the best kisser. Really knows how to work his lips and tongue. I won't elaborate cause I ain't feeding you horndogs
-Favorite way of greeting you is by materializing out of thin air, then striding forwards, snatching you up, dipping you, then kissing you passionately.
-Expect huuuuuuuge cuddle sessions with V, Griffon, and Shadow all curled up on your bed like giant plushies.
-V often needs your help to walk around when he's feeling weak cause sometimes his cane isn't enough. (Or rather he just wants to be coddled by his favorite person)
-Likes to just lounge around and chill with you, reading, watching TV, or whatever.
-Calls you sweet little nicknames like Dear, Sweetness, Lovely, My Dearest, and Sunlight.
-Cuddles you to sleep with all his strength because he knows he won't be around forever, so he has to do all his loving now before it's too late.
-Once bought you a pair of promise rings to further affirm your love for one another--and also so you have something to remember him by when he's gone someday.
-Writes you love poems to express his affection, and also reads romantic verses from certain poetry books on the days when he' having writer's block cause even V's creative jucies need to recharge.
-Loves you with all his heart, and when he inevitably merges back with Vergil, the Sparda son will have some of his memories. He'll understand how you felt with V, so he'll split himself every other day or so, (or whenever he needs a break from Dante his problems) So not all hope is lost.
-V never truly left you; his merging with Vergil is more like long business trips than anything else.

Has a habit of absentmindedly tapping his fingers against books while thinking.
Reads absolutely everywhere.

Doesn't actually enjoy being the center of attention despite how dramatic he sounds.
Collects favorite quotes and passages in the margins of books.
The type to stare out a window for twenty minutes and call it productive.
Drinks tea when he can.
Prefers cloudy weather over sunny weather.
Would rather spend an evening reading than attending any social event.
Has surprisingly neat handwriting.
Rarely raises his voice.
When he does, everyone immediately pays attention.
Notices small details about people that most others miss.
