think about other hunters hearing tales of john’s boys; those winchester brothers. those two boys who were always a little too close together growing up, practically sitting on each other when they could. the small quiet one and the bigger brash one. john’s a handful on his own but those two are a separate ballpark entirely. try and separate them and you’ll get teeth marks from the little on and a new slice in your shirt from the bigger one.

then they grew up, the small one being the big one now, towering over everyone and everything w ease. still shy and gentle but now he knows how to act human. the older one is now smaller, but still huge compared to the rest of the hunters. he’s still bold and brash and loud but there’s a new carefulness behind his actions, like the loudness is a front.

somehow, older, they’re even more entwined. they finally learned that sitting on top of each other is weird, but they are still very close. they’ll watch each other too. you just have to hope they’re listening if your speaking because of how much they aren’t looking at anyone but each other.

there are rumors about why they’re never seen w a girl. close quarters and no privacy, some say they stopped looking outside their little bubble of existence and go to each other for anything a girl would be of use for. but it’s hard to pinpoint what’s a hickey and bitemark compared to bruises and monster bites.

all in all, hunters know to stay clear of those two in you can, and if you can’t, for all that’s holy don’t piss them off

one of the reasons why i can’t take wincest ft sub/bottom dean seriously is s4 dean being absolutely pissed, because sam’s suddenly became independent and uncontrollable and even more bratty-mouthy (well, that’s okay, because dean can always lock him up in a basement to “fix” him). dean hates it when sam thinks he’s weak. like, actually hates it. and it’s not a facade aka dean feeling like he “needs to stay strong and manly at all costs, but in reality he’s just a subby little fluff ball”. one thing about dean is that he really does enjoy being perceived as strong and manly and in control, all big brotherly, but only when it comes to sam
