my baran al-hashimi headcanons because i think about her a lot

- autistic (implied by sepideh herself but it’s a headcanon i’ve had since the first episode of season 2), diagnosed really late because her family thought she was just being difficult

- middle child, has an older brother and a younger sister

- was the leader of her school’s debate club in high school

- history enthusiast

- was raised bilingual, but taught herself the basics of other languages (example: her speaking armenian to nazely)

- ambidextrous

- likes both men and women, but prefers to stay unlabeled

- considered working in psychiatry for a while

- not close with her family: occasionally keeps in contact with her siblings but barely talks to her parents

- was raised in a very religious environment, stopped believing in god in her twenties

- had really severe postpartum depression

- bites her nails and picks at her skin when she’s nervous

- actually went out with abbot that one time: it was awkward as hell but they developed a clear understanding of each other

- barely had friends in school, people thought she was weird and rude

- loves musicals

Watching Robby stans claim the female actresses can’t think for themselves are just repeating what they see being said online 🙄. Saying Baran shouldn’t be allowed to work in the er with her disability is why people are calling y’all and Robby ableist . Again Sepideh has actually talk with real physicians with these disabilities so yes they are allowed to still practice while having this disability. And clearly she still at the hospital come season 3 so seem like the hospital boards all agree with her neurologist. Robby going through his own mental struggles does not mean no one can criticize him for how he treats others . I hate this take and it always use by his hardcore stans when talking about the show . This does not make him untouchable from faces any consequences of his actions . Also this is not the first time Taylor has called out Robby misogyny she literally said it to Noah face at Paleyfest and he nodding agreeing with her . It so gross to think these women can’t think for themselves and are just jumping on social media taking points . When it something they had to act out as actors on the show first hand dealing with a character treatment toward them .
