I was thinking about it this afternoon. Being raised in the emperor's coven, he's never seen an interaction like this before. This is the first scene in the entire series that he gets to hang out with friends in a healthy way. He grew up in a rigid, military environment. Thinking about this is the saddest part of my day.

I've definitely noticed a trend in media where the hero will beat up or kill a bunch of mooks, but then they'll let the big bad boss just walk away to prove that they don't stoop to the same level.

I'm not saying that creatives are consciously stating that it's okay to kill working class people but the bosses have to be left alive.

I am saying that some authors express an unconscious bias in their art.

Assuming grimwalkers work similarly to clones, they’d also be similar to twins. In that they have so much overlapping but even in the same environment they’d end up being completely different people. For instance, my little brothers are twins and couldn’t be more different in personality and have some differences in their faces if you know them.

It’s interesting to think about that in the context of the grimwalkers because they might be very different than Hunter and Caleb, even if they look related.
