Miss Raven, I got into Avatar lately and it make me wonder on you do you think on what kind of benders the guys are
Before I respond, please note that Twst and ATLA’s magic systems are very different. For the purposes of this ask, I will be operating under the following assumptions:
No magic at all; bending will take the place of magic.
We play by ATLA rules. That means only one element maximum per person (although there would be some variability with sub-elements); Malleus cannot be the Avatar himself.
Sub-elements (metalbending, sandbending, lightningbending, etc.) won’t be listed individually; I will only be focusing on the 4 core elements.
Yuu will be considered a non-bender.
No spiritbending will be considered.
When determining these, I took into consideration the characters’ personalities, how they handle problems, and magic specialties from the Twst world. I also considered what each element in the ATLA world is associated with. Then I tried to find the best fit with all of these factors in mind.
These won’t be perfect, since we have so few options to sort into and the Twst characters weren’t really designed for the ATLA world.
There’s lots of characters included here, so I won’t be including individual explanations on the placements. A lot of them are self explanatory though, so I don’t think I necessarily have to.

Water
The element of change. Benders of this element tend to be adaptive and fluid like the art itself, changing the water’s state (solid, gas) and even changing oneself to better suit the environment. There is an emphasis placed in redirection, synergy, flow, and using the opponent’s energy against them. Their communities have held together by a deep sense of love and community. Rather than forcing one’s will, a waterbender shapes energy by guiding it.
Within waterbending, there’s healing and also manipulation of the water within other things (such as the water in plants or even the water in animals). Under the light of a full moon, skilled waterbenders can bloodbend.

Earth
The element of substance. Benders tend to be stubborn, strong/tough, and unyielding, like big boulders. They are described as persistent and enduring, like the earth itself. The emphasis is on strength, having a solid stance, confronting opponents head-on, and control. An immovable force that won’t be swayed, they make the world bend to them, not the other way around.
Anything associated with the earth can fall under this category—refined earth (like metals), worn down granules of earth (like sand), wet earth (like mud), etc.

The element of power. Requires an intense emotional drive in order to drive the size of one’s flame. Benders have desire and will, as well as the energy and drive to achieve what they want. They impose their will upon the world through sheer power and determination. This element emphasizes fast, aggressive, and very direct offenses. Fire can quickly spiral out of control if not regulated and the bender is not disciplined.
Highly skilled firebenders can conjure and redirect lightning. There’s other sub-elements, such as combustionbending.

The element of freedom. Benders are spiritual, peaceful, detached from worldly desires, and free-spirited. This style favors evasive maneuvers, circular movements, and avoiding direct confrontation. There is creativity, dynamism, and flexibility in their motions. Airbenders accommodate for the world and try to live in harmony with it while impacting it as little as they can.
It’s possible to use airbending to do things like float, shape clouds, etc.
