Now that I’ve let the ending of cadence simmer for a few days, here are some of my favorite moments/chapters:

Remus having gay feelings in the very first chapter (proceeding to be in denial for two and a half more years)

Remus living with Tonya and Tomny and being the epitome of bi panic (I also want them both)

Remus’ birthday turning into full-fledged Jily war (also Peter rolling under the bed with the beer and Remus and Sirius dipping with no remorse)

Remus accusing Sirius of not knowing anything about him and Sirius dropping a LONG ASS LIST of things he knows about Remus

That walk Remus and Lily went on where she took the most adorable photo of him with a flower behind his ear (they also discovered the shrieking shack through this)

Halloween at the shrieking shack (genuinely the most elaborate prank of all time) also finding out LILY AND JAMES WERE ALREADY TOGETHER SNKSJRNFKJKFHKDFUH

That sleepover in the girls dorm when everyone piled onto the four beds pushed together and Remus accidentally cuddled with a sleeping Sirius and got pinned there by Marlene on his other side (bi panic extravaganza)

SOMEBODY TO LOOOOOVEE (and the kiss hehe)

Remus picking Sirius up from Dover and here comes the sun playing on the radio on the way back 🥹

City lights, London nights (just…… everything. So magical)

Christmas and the potters and Effie literally WALKING IN ON WOLFSTAR IN THE HALLWAY CLOSET and being like ummmmm woah didn’t expect to see this but pretending they weren’t there and never mentioning it again

This might be kind of mean but Remus having literally the worst birthday imaginable getting beaten up and psychologically and emotionally tortured by his old friend and THEN getting knocked out by the police AND THEN waking up in jail. But hey Rod Stewart gave him directions to the bathroom

Wolfstar’s field trip with Regulus after he showed up on their doorstep and then dropping off of the bridge (Remus with his entire body about to disintegrate before our eyes)

Remus and Sirius dancing in secret at Lottie’s wedding 🥹 and then the conversation about getting married if they could (sobbing)

Regulus playing the DRUMMSS LIKE YESS OMGOMGOMG

Trish and Barty showing up at the APARTMENT LMAOO THAT SCENE
