Neil wasn't sure how to describe what he was feeling towards Andrew. At the start it was slightly easier to figure out. He wanted to protect Andrew, he wanted to be around Andrew.. he wanted to stay.
Now he was faced with not ever wanting to leave Andrew's side under any circumstances. In class he sketched little foxes that looked a suspicious lot like Andrew. In the dorm he fell over his own two feet as he rushed to Andrew's side to talk shit about his classmates.
One of Neil's favorite times to spend with Andrew where the lazy evenings and mornings in Colombia. Just being able to cuddle or on the rare occasion do something more intimate was enough to make Neil melt and look at Andrew as if he hung the stars for him. He just couldn't help himself, he nuzzled into Andrew and kissed his neck as if he wanted to crawl right under Andrew's skin and make himself at home.
Andrew surely noticed Neil becoming more attached and affectionate. A few months ago it would have scared him and made him push Neil away but now he wasn't entirely sure what to do. They where both struggling to navigate their feelings for each other. But that was ok since they now had more than enough time to figure it out.
But Andrew swore if Neil brought him breakfast to bed and even remember those stupid marshmallows in his hot chocolate one more time he'd... he'd... he'd figure something out. He couldn't keep getting away with it.
