Imagine a modern day Jeremy playing Tomodachi Life on Cat’s Switch. Secretly, he’s hoping his mii and Jean’s will fall in love, get married, and have beautiful little mii-children. He’s constantly pushing them to interact, even lying to the game and selecting that they’re dating in real life. He tries everything he can to get them together, if not in reality, then at least in this universe.
But when Jean’s mii unexpectedly falls for Kevin instead, Jeremy is surprised to realize… he doesn’t actually mind. After all that effort, he somehow ends up genuinely happy with the outcome. What surprises him more is catching himself googling, “Are throuples possible in the new Tomodachi Life?”
Jean once caught him playing and was fully prepared to comment that his mii doesn’t even look like him (it absolutely does), but he went quiet the moment he noticed the pink arrow labeled “Soulmates” between himself and Kevin.
Meanwhile, Cat is thoroughly amused by the amount of time and effort Jeremy put into Jean’s and Kevin’s miis compared to everyone else’s, but chooses not to comment on it.
