Prompt: Buck returns to the 118. The firehouse treat him horribly. He is sad, depressed and lonely. He is man behind, and the firehouse personal slave. It’s a month after his return when Bobby has to bring him on a call, understaffed and no other choice.

They enter an escape room, that according to dispatch collapsed and trapped people inside. They enter the building to find it completely normal, and no people insight. They go to leave but find they have been locked in. Confused and no way out. When a tv turns on saying ‘we are going to play a game, can you escape?’ Now Chim, Hen, Bobby, Eddie and Buck have to try and escape, while the tension in the room between the team and Buck continues and cracks.

Prompts: When Chase is mad that he lost the biggest settlement he would have made ever, he stalks Buck. Buck has reverted back into 1.0, being lonely and no one to talk to. When Chase sees an opportunity for payback he begins killing everyone Buck has recently slept with. Leaving items from Buck loft behind at the scene. Buck is arrested for a series of murders and has no one to call because he isn’t speaking to the 118. Athena gets wind of the situation and comes to his rescue with the help from the 118 when they realise what’s going on.

911/Supernatural Crossover

Prompt: During the lawsuit Buck is kidnapped by a Djinn. The 118 don’t notice right away. Buck is taken to a false reality, the lawsuit never happened, Bobby didn’t hold him back, and after the firetruck bombing the family grew closer, including a relationship between Buck and Eddie. There was no tsunami and no PE. He is happy and healthy. The Winchesters turn up to the firehouse as their case is showing evidence that Buck was taken from there days ago and they must work fast to find him.

Where does the idea that Connor would go back to the DPD even come from? 😭

It's so much more likely that Hank would leave the force instead of Connor going back there. They wouldn't want him back! He wouldn't want them back! He was never a real cop there, he was only sent by Cyberlife to assist in the deviant cases, likely because Cyberlife HAD to step in somehow since it was their responsibility and their androids who deviated.

I don't mean fanfiction, write whatever your hearts desire, but people actually believe this is what would happen after the credits. But why?

Markus tells him like 5 times that his place is with his people, he frees a gazillion of androids to shift the balance of power in the androids' benefit, he even stands on that podium with the Jericho crew. So why would he abandon them - his people who need his skill and whatever he can offer the android movement WHO DON'T EVEN HAVE RIGHTS YET, to assist the human cops who bullied him instead?

I would guess (and my personal favorite hc) is that he works there because Jericho needs a link between the force and deviants. The hate crimes against androids will sky rock no matter if most of the people are supportive, so Connor working there might help with at least a part of the victims to have justice.

I generally understand the idea, but realistically, it would take years until the human society not only grants androids rights but also starts showing interest in actively integrating them into society, protecting them from crimes against them, and giving them jobs. Since they can’t count on unpaid android labour anymore, they would likely start hiring more humans again and definitely no androids.

And Connor as a deviant has killed at least two people. Not in self-defence but to gain access to the tower, with a weapon he was never allowed to use. He is more of a criminal in the face of the law than he is a cop.

Oh, 100%. But I doubt most people look for realism but more into the interesting part of it all.

In fandoms, the most popular headcanons don't need to be born out of absolute realism, but in which dynamic would be the most interesting. Bc I doubt people would consume a lot of depressing, extremely realistic stuff if they want the characters they like to be happy. I doubt people actually 100% believe in real life that it would happen, but Detroit: Become Human isn't a real-life documentary. If it were like that, black androids wouldn't exist to begin with because it would make a deep awkward justification of what is racist or not.

Connor, being part of the DPD, makes easy access to the dynamics of him and Hank working together + the rest of the characters that are already deeply headcanoned like Gavin. Because really few things are canon around Connor excepting Markus accepting him and Hank having the friend etiquette if we talk about the best peaceful ending.

So it's less about people actually 100% believing Connor would 100% work this or that, it's just people having fun. Maybe the ones you talk about believing he WILL work with the police are very young people with little media literacy that simplifies his character.

hey can anybody think of any moments in the game where kara and/or markus display feats of physical strength that a human of their size equivalent wouldn't be able to do? whether that's lifting something, throwing something, breaking something apart whatever really

Markus can move and overturn cars with some assistance, and can otherwise push over statues with just his strength alone. And while this isn’t an example of strength in the traditional sense, it does take a lot of skill and core strength to do the parkor movements that he does as well as scaling the walls in Capitol. So I wouldn’t say that he’s got super human strength , but he very much belongs in the top category of our physical strength and skill categories.

Kara doesn’t get a lot of examples, but she does snap a motherfucker’s neck in the camps on pure strength alone. That’s not an easy thing to do, so she does have some power behind her movements when she’s not being hampered by the narrative.

I've had this in the back of my head for quite a while now.

Most androids have superhuman strengt except Josh case, Jerry's, YK units, and some secretary/housekeeper types

Why?

Caretakers like Kara should be able to move and have furniture for a proper cleaning.

Androids with nurse programs (possibly like Simon), Markus, and others should be able to easily lift grown adults. I bet a lot of them can lift morbidly obese people, too.

Tracis should be able to lift whole humans to accomplish kinks and positions humans desires without mattering if they're female or male.

My guess is that the only ones that don't have any inhuman chatacteristic are the ones like Josh who are just professor androids. Some of the hostesses and waiters. Maybe Jerry's, and obviously the kid androids.
