My first aa meeting went really well , here’s to the path to soberty ! 26 but ready to fight this illness
I’m struggling I been diagnosed with paranoid personality disorder , I’m higher rate of using substances or drink and I’m again 0 days sober because I couldn’t resist the temptation I think I need to start AA MEETINGS NOW
today's been a good day , communication with someone has progressed because i have decided i need to be open more to them. Made my team leader at work happy as-well only been there a week and picking thing's up quick , done gym 4 times this week so now i can chill, sometimes i say that though and still end up going because it helps with my mental health :)
Something i am working on...
SELF IMPROVEMENT
Sometimes it's better to accept that you need improving and don't react instead improve & self love yourself :)
i need direction i need to stay in my lane and keep going for what i want. I need to quit drinking i say it all the time but never ACT on it i don't know weather its because i have a serious problem with alcohol or deep down i dont feel ready to stop... i need to figure out what it is.
Its nearly the end of January and it's gone so quick so i need to make this year MY YEAR because once i achieve my goals this year i can make new ones to get me closer to my goal of becoming a business owner.. Georgia's Boutique here i come.
Relapse
I started drinking at 9AM today i have a problem especially as my partner does the same to its hard.. im Disappointed In myself i cant really say how i feel i need a therapist at this point i am losing myself
self relisation
So today i feel strange , i am self analyzing myself , my behaviors , actions and its not good , i don't want to be like this and the first step is becoming aware that i have learnt unhealthy behaviors and need to stop myself. I do think a therapist is going to be a good option because i need to let out a lot of stuff , so i can understand why i act the way i do.. i think that's important.
I have a lot of feelings i want to speak but i am going to take it step by step.
were see. x
out for now x
This picture says alot
So the last few days have been very positive did have a beer last night but didn't get absolutely Smashed which is a first for me... Now i am hitting gym 4 times a week and finally shaping up my new job is going well and i am going to start writing my book & write my business plan up soon EXCITING TIMES 2023 has defintely changed my mind...
THIS PICTURE... Is about a certain someone who put up with a depressed me , alcoholic me , a mood me you name it he put up with it and now i can't let him down.. he has helped me succeed and i couldnt me more grateful...
Thats all for today .. How are you're journeys going? Whats something that's been postive for you
Hey guys :)
Hey so today is a positive one i managed to actually go gym for the first time and do a hour's workout of course with breaks , it felt good my brain is on fire, in a good way of course.
I know i actually did a good job because i was sweating a lot and the only time i ever went gym , i never sweated lmfao , I had a gym buddy which helps.
I also start my new Job tomorrow so an early night, i am craving a drink right now but i am trying to not have one ill definitely let you know tomorrow if i stayed sober tonight :)
Things are looking up though i think the gym helped me forget about gym for the hour i was there, so i think gym might actually be a good thing for me .. I know i can do it if i put my mind to it.
This quote says it all for me to :) a little does go along way if you keep it up.
Peace out guys.

day 3 as a alcoholic
So today has been a positive day today , i signed up for the gym, been really busy preparing for a new job and gym everyday. I have started drinking a couple of beers now for the evening and sometimes i really enjoy it and other times i am disgusted with myself but i am cutting down so i can finally go sober. How did you get sober? what was your struggles?
I just want to live a healthy live without it its put me on probation caused relationship problems , made me into a horrible person. Its time i look at it realistic instead of saying 'one wont hurt' because we all know once you have one you cant stop... well i cant anymore.. i dont have control when alcohol is involved.
if you are sober i am proud of you .. if your cutting down i am proud of you .. and if you have realized you have a problem i am proud of you.
Onto better things..

10 Tools For Getting Sober:
1) Change your mindset about alcohol from “can’t have” to “don’t want.”
2) The first 30 days are the toughest. Sign up to a 30-day course, such as the free 30-day Alcohol Experiment, write down your experience and start getting really curious about everything that’s happening.
3) Join Facebook groups, sober sub-reddits and other online or in person sober communities so you have support and accountability. Search out other sober people to befriend.
4) Arm yourself with alcohol-free alternative drinks. There are hundreds available and it’s great fun exploring it all.
5) Pour or give away your alcoholic drinks. You don’t want them in the house.
6) Avoid temptation. If you have any boozy nights out arranged for at least the first 30-60+ days, I’d suggest avoiding them because you might be tempted to drink. When you feel strong enough, carry on as normal.
7) Be passionate. Think about it like, I’m a sober rebel: I’m doing something amazing, I’m not feeling deprived.
8) Don’t worry too much if you slip – it can happen. Don’t beat yourself up. Learn from it, move on and try again.
9) Stay engaged as the weeks and months roll by. You’ll see loads of positive changes to your body, your mind and your life.
10) Find new things to do with your time. When you stop drinking, you might find you have a lot more time on your hands. You’ll also feel more motivated and enthusiastic to go and do stuff, and you want to fill the void. Instead of going to the pub every night, you now have the chance to join that gym you've had your eye on, or to learn how to cook your favourite dish.

Day 2; as an alcoholic
12:08pm So today is day 2 and my emotions are different today , i feel like i need to really give it up and haven't touched a drop yet normally start about now or in a hour its crazy when you start to realise how damaging alcohol abuse can be its put me in some horrible situations even in a police cell before. I guess its time for change but i am scared i guess ill need to get a therapist in place so i have someone to chat to about what i have been hiding under for years now.... Time for change i suppose.
Day in the life with addiction.
Day 1: Today i came to the relisation my drinking is unhealthy and is causing major issue's in my life. It makes me feel shame , guilt , anger after a drinking session and before today that was every day and heavy now i am limiting myself to 2 beers and trust me the thought of not getting absolutely hammered scares me because when i am in that state i dont have to deal with my emotions i can hide away from reality. Well i think that but really i make myself worse and affect those around me ... so who's really winning definitely not me all i am really doing is self destructing in a bad way.
peace out
