the unpopular character that you actually like and why more people should like them - Kennedy. I know she tends to be seen as a problematic character and a rebound/coping mechanism at best, but I think we honestly needed a character like her to put everything in perspective. She shows us what outsiders would feel upon seeing the Scoobies at work, and she also proves how quickly Buffy's friends are able to turn on her if even slightly provoked. She's a fun, honest, three-dimensional character who introduces new dynamics, and I just can't bring myself to hate her

It was cool as a plot point but the fallout was weird bc there kept on being more levels of consequences but basically nothing actually came of it. Like in the end the most that happens that's actually permanent is Halfrek dying and she didn't even matter so. Idk it was just boring that they made such a big deal about the whole thing but it ultimately barely even mattered
part of canon you think is overhyped - the Buffy and Spike hookup era in season 6. Don't get me wrong, I'm spuffy for life, but honestly that was a bad sitch all around. I'm happy they both got to unwind and all but it kind of just made everything worse for everybody and forced buffy into a situation where she felt she had to apologize for doing what she liked and led to the events of Seeing Red. Maybe the eventual outcome was her falling in love, but the events themselves were really unhealthy and bad for most parties involved.

common fandom complaint that you're sick of hearing - the treatment of Willow's sexuality. Like, yeah, Joss Wheadon is biphobic and didn't handle her character well, and that should be seen and addressed. But a somewhat hot take of mine is that comphet can absolutely sometimes look like a happy relationship that has ups and downs and every appearance of being legitimate. Furthermore, I honestly believe that Willow and Oz were in love, just not necessarily in the way they thought they were. They could've been ten times happier in a queerplatonic relationship while Willow dated Tara. I honestly think they were platonic soulmates and that's why their comphet relationship worked so well - they did care about and love each other, even if Willow wasn't as attracted to Oz as she convinced herself she was.
