I didn’t want to watch this movie becaus of comments like these. I didn’t want someone to try to make me feel compassion for what in our world amounts to a school shooter. But then I finally did see it.

The movie was an eat the rich cautionary tale.

Arthur Flick is a person loving below the poverty line that loses acess to all social programs that could help him. He loses acess to his meds and perhaps some of the movie is in his head, but a lot of it is showing what happens when a society dehumanizes people.

It’s not “I am an entitled white boy that didnt get a date or got fired or just believes they didn’t get something he ‘deserved.’”

It’s a movie about the negative effects of privatizated health care and the withdrawl of social programs. He was a man living at real rock bottom.

Please watch the film before writing it off as an entitlement piece.
