The two sides of this are "I don't like censorship or bullying" vs. "It's activism to harass people".
They can certainly both be self-righteous activists on the surface, and there are certainly hypocrites describing themselves as proshippers, but this is not a Both Sides issue. This is good values vs. security theater at best and intentional harassment for funsies at worst.
What you're saying is that people who are loudly anti-bullying are just as annoying as bullies.

im neuship and have both proship and antiship moots and watching the current discourse going on in both communities is kind of crazy. From what i can gather, proship community’s current issue is that someone threatened to call ICE on a black person because they posted. “rape coded images”? and called said black person an abuser for drawing a character with a cross? and then in the antiship community someone is block-evading, spam-posting, and spam-reblogging actual gore to people. i’ve never been more thankful not to post anything in discourse tags and just see what my moots rb
