Color chart.
You can make this too, just search blank color chart on google and print it out. This can be really helpful.

Spongebob, Patrick and Squidward. Classic.
I bought this from a stall in our school’s conclave. The design was umm awful, so I decided to give it a makeover.

This is my favourite painting at the moment. I actually started this last year but completely forgot about it. Lockdown really made me finish undone art. And yes, I did use watercolors.
‘Be a unicorn in a field full of horses.’
The doodle says it all.

which is your favourite disney movie?
If we are talking animated ones then ‘Moana’ is my favourite. She is also my favorite disney princess along with Jasmine. Live action adaptions are usually fun, I loved Cinderella, Beauty and the beast, and Aladdin. Aladdin is one such movie that I can watch over and over again.
a happy soul is the best shield for a cruel world.

If you didn’t notice already, this is my new logo.
The girl obviously is me, with my initials ‘am’ for ‘Anusha Meher’. I have also included some stuff that I like such as pizza, painting, drawing and some other fun emojis.
‘be you, do you, for you.’
Quick flower sketch!
How’re y’all dealing with the quarantine boredom? I’m actually doing pretty good. Our school has started online teaching so I’m attending online classes from 9 in the morning till 2 in the afternoon. Teachers are giving quite a lot of homework. I also keep working on new drawings and paintings. Rest of the time is filled by food, screen time and sleep. I hope we are able eliminate Covid-19 as soon as possible.
On the brighter side this pandemic seems to be having a positive effect on our earth. Dolphins have returned to Marine Drive in Mumbai and to the canals of Venice. There’s a drop in the pollution levels of Delhi and China. Humanity is coming together again, people can be seen singing in unison in Italy and clapping for the people still working during the lockdown in India.
Spread happiness and positivity :)
Here I have a turquoise background with a blossom tree popping out of the right and two lanterns hanging from it. I really did love blossoms.
‘Your dream doesn’t have an expiration date.’
I prefer acrylic paints over watercolors and I’m even better with acrylics. This is funny because I started using watercolors way before than acrylics paints. I used to make watercolor paintings all the time. But with time I just floated away from them. So I tried them once again. I painted two watercolor paintings, both of the horizon in different shades.
‘progress not perfection’
I’ve been running through the jungle, I’ve been running with the wolves to get to you.
Here I have a dusk scene with a moon in the sky.
This was a very quick painting, one of those times where you just don’t feel like it. I have art blocks from time to time, we all do. The important part is how we deal with them. I suggest whenever you’re not in the mood of creating something, leave it. Come back again to complete it but do not continue as it will only make your piece worse. I have posted this to show you that no one is perfect and everyone has ups and downs in life. I don’t know how the painting corresponded so well with what I have written here. It shows the darkening of the sky which represents you being frustrated. A fresh morning will follow the night and you will be well rested, ready to rock the day.
‘Take a deep breath, pick yourself up, dust yourself off and keep moving forward.’
‘All we have is now’
2020 took many turns from the start and march hasn’t even ended. Right now we are facing a pandemic. Scientists all over the globe are in search of a treatment which could help us fight against this corona virus. Health workers, pilots, food suppliers, drivers, grocery store workers, police, fire department, defence forces and many other essential workers are still operating during lockdowns. The most we as responsible citizens of the world can do is to follow the instructions and health advisory issued by the government of our states. If there’s a curfew, please stay at home. Let’s stay positive and work our way through.
Wash your hand, practice social distancing and stay safe.
Really quick, I’ll talk about the painting. These two birds perched on a dried tree are symbolic of strength and comfort of family and loved ones in difficult times awaiting the glorious morning to come and brighten up our lives represented by a warm hue in the background.

As republic day recently passed, this is a poster dedicated to our ‘Incredible India’. India has such a diverse culture that fitting everything into one poster is not possible so this poster is depicting the monuments of India.
