Adam Hammond’s Twine Guide was the first thing ever that got me started. And now I use the SugarCube2 format so I’m always on the Documentation Site for that.
for bigger projects (like Pyrates) I like to keep just like a sheet of paper near my computer with all my $variables somewhere where I can see them all at once.
I also really love the twine subreddit because I don’t know a lot of the minutiae of coding and can ask for advice there
