You know who died during Katrina? Largely it was the elderly and the destitute. The people who could not evacuate. Evacuating is a great thing to do, you should do it if you’re able and ask for help from friends and loved ones of you cannot. But you cannot fucking shame people who cannot evacuate while sitting on the safety of your couch in your suburban home.
