War Bonds is Finished

Hear ye, hear ye.

It’s kind of a big deal so I figured I might as well post about it on here. After around 5 years, I’ve finally finished writing War Bonds. The last couple chapters have been posted on AO3. It’s been a very long journey with lots of ups and downs, and now it’s finally finished. I’m pretty happy with the finished product, and if you’ve been reading it, I hope you’ll like it too.

Honestly I’m a little surprised I didn’t hit a million words but that’s probably for the best.

Long Time No See

Hi all it’s me again. I haven’t touched this account in a while but I’m still here and obviously also still writing. It’s on 100% good news, as the holidays have been very busy for me and I have had very little time to write. So there’s not going to be a War Bonds chapter out tomorrow

It’s an important one and I don’t want to rush it out, so the next chapter will be posted on January 7th, 2025. Sorry about the delay, but I hope everyone has a happy holiday and new year!

I was working on my commission rates post when I realized I'm in desperate need to update my portfolio. Oeps. While I have a lot of fully rendered stuff, my simpler drawings and sketches are all over the place style-wise so I need to get consistent with that. This piece is more or less how I'm gonna handle sketch commissions (if I ever get any).

Fandom-wise I'm completely OOTL so I don't know what's going on here lol. I've watched Ahsoka, TBB too, I dropped Acolyte after episode 2 because I was busy but I don't feel like returning to it yet 😅 Also House of The Dragon and KDramas have completely possessed me. I kinda want to draw HOTD and Game of Thrones fanart too.

I'm trying my best to finish my commission info as soon as possible but I kinda got stuck doing 10 different things at once because I'm desperate to earn some money. I'm broke.

I was on vacation for all of last week and didn’t get anywhere near as much writing done as I hoped. I’m about halfway through the chapter now, so I’ll only need until next Tuesday to finish it. Timelines

Working with media that has an ambiguous timeline is weird. Like there are two or three concrete dates and the rest is loosely tied together by math and time estimates. I’m really trying to make it work though, because I want to include actual dates in the story.

Im talking about my secret side project here. Don’t count this as an official announcement or anything because I’m not sure I’ll finish it. That said, I’m over 300 pages deep and it’s looking to be longer than War Bonds Year 4, which is also looking like it’ll be longer than War Bonds Year 3, if only slightly.
