Hello beautiful people

I got a lot more of a response than I was expecting from my WLW Romeo and Juliet post!

I'm really glad people seem interested!

A few things:

I'd like to know where would be convenient to post my work, I'm considering Ao3 at the moment but if there's other platforms that would be more convenient please let me know.

I'm almost done with the prologue and chapter 1, should be done soon

And finally, I'll try to write often but I've never really posted writing, let alone on a structured schedule- so updates may be sparse

Beta readers needed for wlw Romeo and Juliet

Here's the elevator pitch:

Romeo and Juliet but Juliet was kidnapped by the fae as a child, Romeo is a closeted weird girl/gifted child and it's the 2010s.

The situation:

I'm an American and want to set the story somewhere in the UK. Brittain and Ireland have faerie lore I want to draw from and it's easier to justify that flavor of fae stuff happening in the countryside somewhere in Brittain vs. Like... Colorado

The problem:

Being an American I only have very limited knowledge about schools in the UK, I don't know what things might have different names, student etiquette, etc. And I need somone who is familiar to tell me if it's not called a "hall pass" when a teacher writes you an excused absence from class- small things like that.

This would be unpaid, I'm an unpublished writer, but I want to actually start really writing.

The only rewards are helping a small artist and helping me to create some queer art.

What can you do:
