Runner For Life

Hey, yeah I don't really know how to do this... So here goes. I'm a teenager from the UK and over the last two years I have been fluctuating between being one of the fastest runners in the country with some of the fastest times ever recorded to being in a MRI scan on crutches being pulled out out of training and racing due to injury within a matter of days... Running is my life and always will be it's like me personal therapy I guess it takes away my anger stress and worries etc... However being told I need to recover and not train for a matter of months Made me hit a rough patch and i felt lost... I them found tumblr :) and all these amazing people helped me realise that it wasn't the end my life wasn't over and there is still things I can do and most importantly not to give up on myself or my sporting carrier and I guess I want to do the same... Coz this kinda saved me... Anyway enough of me going on about myself. I just want to say if you have any questions about me, my injury, sport or anything that's in your mind I'm pretty much an open book and I'm here , I will do my best to answer and give you the best answer possible and to try and help. I'm no miracle worker but I do have a good pair of ears and a voice so yeah... I guess all that's left to say is I hope you like my blog... X

To be able to start living.

To be able to eat chocolate, burgers, chicken nuggets, chips and all the other yummy foods again.

To be able to eat without thinking about what’s inside the food, and rather to enjoy it and savour each bite.

To be able to eat out or at a restaurant, without having to spend hours of worry and anxiety beforehand.

To be able to actually enjoy going out for a meal with friends and family.

To be able to look back and say “I got through it and I’m here.”

To stop worrying all the people that care about me.

To stop feeling tired and sick and instead feel healthy and strong.

To get my boobs back.

To be able to wear clothes and feel good in them.

To stop numbers from controlling my life.

To do exercise because I enjoy doing it, not because I want to compensate for a meal.

To stop being irritable and snapping at people and to have good moods again.

To be free.

So that one day I can have children and build my own family.

Because self-worth isn’t measured in kilograms.

Because life can, and should be, so much more.

For anyone who just needed a reminder, is having one of those days or just doesnt know what to do? You ARE beautiful no matter what ANYONE says. The people who say you arnt are people that think they are champagne in a tall glass when in actual fact they are probably just Luke warm piss in a plastic cup. You a better than the people who put you down and you shouldnt listen coz when push comes to they are probably just jealous. You are perfect. I know that is harsh on the haters but after what they have put both me and you through we are okay😘
