Rules Post!!!
Hi, I'm going to go by Heggy on this blog.
Basically, the point of this blog is for you guys to anonymously send in asks about characters you believe are asexual or on the asexual spectrum (demisexual, greysexual, sapiosexual, etc.).
You should:
Provide the name of where the character comes from and if needed, their full name.
You may:
Add a romantic orientation (ex. aromantic, demiromantic, heteromantic, biromantic) or I can do so when creating the posts. Please add in any canon orientations (ex. if you want to add Parvati from The Outerworlds, include her wlw orientation), just so I know.
Add a gender headcanon, even if it's just cisgender. Please add in any canon trans info for your characters (ex. If you want to include Alex from Magnus Chase, include that they're genderfluid), just so I know.
Add in characters from any type of media! Books, tv shows, video games, web comics, etc. Anything goes!*
Include characters that the creator has said are not ace outside of canon (ex. Ari from Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe). Death of the Author is a thing, and if you relate to the character, then that's all that matters.
Ask for the other flags to be included (up to 3 flags allowed).
DM me if you would like specific things.
You may not:
Send in asks with headcanons for characters that do not include an asexual headcanon. I'd love to hear them, but this blog is for asexual headcanons. So, if you want to be on the blog, make sure to include an ace-spec headcanon.
*Do not send in asks for characters in Camp Camp (due to antisemitism), The Umbrella Academy (due to incest), 13 Reasons Why (due to graphic depictions of r*pe, s*icide, and violence), or any other types of media like that.
*I would also prefer if characters from Anime could have minimal submissions, due to the fact that a lot of blogs like these are filled with anime characters, and also, I have no idea about anything to do with anime. So you can submit characters from anime, but try not to overdo it.
Do not include characters that are younger than the age of 13 in canon (ex. Phineas from Phineas and Ferb, who is below teenagerhood for the majority of the series) unless they age throughout the media (ex. Lucy Pevensie from The Narnia Chronicles book series). While some people realize their sexualities at younger ages, I would like to keep it as teenagers and above so that I don't get criticism for "sexualizing children". *
This does not mean that you can't include characters from children's shows (ex. Janna from Star vs. the Forces of Evil). Just try to make sure that they are 13 and above.
Definitely do not submit real people, even if they are ace.
