disability pride month starts in less than a week so here's an early reminder to write IDs (image descriptions) so your posts are accessible to many groups of disabled people, especially those who are blind and use screen readers. here are resources to help with writing them if you need them
yeah, they did. I wrote up a big long post about the Trevor Project and the 12 hour charity livestream I'm participating in right now, and they deleted it. twice. We've raised over $50,000 for a legitimate charity but because it helps trans kids it gets deleted from the site
(my introduction fanfic/thingy for Something New!Emi)
It was a cold night, just like the others. The flowers were wilting. The birds were dead. And so has everyone else.
It was just as awfully quite, though this isn't as normal. Usually there were the sounds of boots hitting snow or running or cutting in the air but... Not anymore. Not since that maniac left with that king.
Only the sounds of wind blowing through the Underground, nothing more and nothing less.
But then, there was a door opening. The Ruins door. Pale fingers carefully grip the door as their head and body tentatively got out seeming like they were in fear of what could happen if they do this.
They finally fully step out and closed the door, the snow crunching under their boots, leaning on in as they let out a sigh of relief. It was a human(?). Weirdly enough. They put their hand up to their face, flexing their cold fingers.
They're eyes widen and a small smile started to appear on their face, "I... Did it?" They whispered in awe amazement as if they have never seen their hand.
Because they haven't.
Bunny quickly got up and started to test out the body. It's been so long she had an actual body, it feels so... weird, to have one again. Bunny walked around, hearing the crunch of snow making her laugh breathlessly.
She stumbles a few before getting the hang of having a body, though she had to quickly grip on a nearby tree so she doesn't instantly fall on the ground. The feeling of wood raw and rough on her bare-hands, every sensation making her more happy.
Bunny started to walk around the dead snowy land, her eyes wander around the place with wariness like someone would jump out of the bushes or trees. She made it to the town, decollated and abandoned as dust blows through the wind. The yokai took a deep breath before she kept walking though Snowdin town, stopping when she was in front of a two story cabin house at the end of the town.
Bunny opened the door though in doing so made dust go everywhere and making herself sneeze multiple times, she swatted her hand around trying to get rid of the dust from her face.
She wiped the snot on her sleeve as she kept walking in the house and across the living room to the stairs, "I guess it has been a while though I didn't think it would gather so much-..." Bunny stopped right at the foot of the stairs looking up with her now bloodshot eyes from the dust getting in her eye, "-... dust."
She started to walk up the stairs, the weight on the old floorboards making it creak loudly with each step up making Bunny flinch the first time before she kept going.
As she got up to the second floor she scanned the short hall, Bunny walked towards the end of the hall as her eyes were glues to the two doors on the left of her with a scared but sad expression.
When the yokai got to the end she tried to grab the chain on the attic door which was on the ceiling. Bunny didn't successfully do it and even when she jumped, making the dust on the floor go everywhere, she couldn't make it. She guesses this body wasn't that tall or- Or she didn't jump high enough.
She jumped higher and got the chain, pulling out with a tug but in doing so made more dust get on her and she swatted and coughing and sneezed and rubbed her eyes (that made it worse because there were also dust on her fingers).
As the dust cleared Bunny had to jump again to grab the latter in the attic (though easy to reach), and as she successfully brought the wooden latter to the ground she sneezed making her drop the latter and hit her head. Bunny yelped, jumping back while she rubbed the part of her head that got hit by the latter's steps.
She climbed up the latter, arriving to the attic. It was Bunny's- well, Emi's old room. It was covered in dust and reeked of moisture, there was even a leek on the ceiling.
Bunny took another deep breath and started to explore her old room, she passes by a mirror but then stops dead stepping back to the mirror to see her reflection. It wasn't hers specifically anymore is it? It was the human's.
The body had golden-brown medium length wavy hair, it was very messy though that's how it was when Bunny found it anyways. It had a pair of baggy jeans, though it more or less looked like it was suppose to be for someone way bigger and kept sliding off slightly when Bunny walked, and also a hoodie. It fits the body though it was slightly loose, the color was lime green but it has now been covered in dust alongside every other clothing she is wearing.
There were a few kandi bracelets on the wrists with the letters K-A-T-I-E, that must be the body's name. The body also had hiking brown sturdy boots, explains why when Bunny found the body it had a big backpack though she had took that off as it was stuck on a spike as Bunny had found the human body in one of the spike puzzles in the Ruins. Must've been how they died.
Bunny looked up again to meet the eyes and saw something.. Different. Something different with the hair specifically. The tips were glowing light faded blue and floating up slightly.
Well that wasn't there a moment ago.
Bunny took again, another deep breath to calm her nerves down. She wasn't getting out of the body, she wasn't being rejected by it, she wasn't dying. She had to stop worrying so much. She tried to reassure herself.
When she finally calmed fully down she looked into the eyes of the body and saw that they were a faded blue, unlike when she had found the body where the human had forest-green eyes. She had to guess it was because she was possessing the body and it showed from the eyes.
Bunny, after look at her reflection quickly remembered what she was there for. To finally get some peace. She had been a ghost for so long so she wants to do what she couldn't do after being a ghost, sleep. But not just that.
She would love to eat too, and run, and take a jog, and explore the Underground on foot again after everything, and so so much more.
This place maybe empty now but at least she could finally get a body and live a peaceful life.
But then she heard familiar but as in the same time unfamiliar noises from outside the house.
