[Author’s Video Diary 12/21/42; a transcript is shown below]
The Author is barely seen sitting down in his chair and looking at the camera. He illuminates himself with his computer screen.
I have since switched from paper to pencil because it is no longer bright enough to see what i wrote. My only light source is my computer currently, and even my generator is running low. I will be putting the World Machine project on hold as I do not have enough time to fix the glitches. This is my new project, so I may have time to finish the World Machine.
The Author holds up a sketch of a helmet-looking device connected to a computer. Next to the computer sketch is various levers and buttons.
If I upload my consciousness to a computer, I may transfer it through time and space like the World Machine project. I won’t have to keep power, because I’ll be long gone. Then i can develop the World Machine more, until it is done. I do not like this plan, mind you. But it is the only plan I have. End Diary.
The Author is seen getting up and turning off the camera.
[Author’s Video Diary 12/28/42; a transcript is shown below]
The Author is barely seen sitting down in his chair and looking at the camera. He illuminates himself with his computer screen, but mostly the same helmet seen in the sketch.
I made it. I connected it to the computer and the computer to the transmission system for the World Machine Project. I don’t have time to test the consciousness upload; my generator is almost out of power, but it should work. Thus, I’m going to have to bank on it working. Luckily I know the transmission system will work.
The Author puts the helmet down and starts working on his computer, typing away.
I’m giving the program admin powers as I speak, so i can send myself in the same folder as the World Machine Project. To anyone listening to this: I’m sorry, I can’t finish the project before everyone dies. This is my only choice for our world’s legacy to live on.
Wish me luck.

[Author's Audio Diary 12/28/42; a transcript is shown below]
It worked. Well… sort of. I never made a body, so i’m going to have to resort to Audio diaries until I finish the World Machine Project. Now that it’s actively harmful to stay anonymous, I might as well reveal my name.
[Author's Audio Diary 12/29/42; a transcript is shown below]
Something’s odd. I could have sworn this was my first Audio Diary, and yet there was one yesterday. Or at least… probably yesterday? It’s hard to track time here with no day or night. But it says yesterday. Hm.
In addition, it talks about… me having a name…? I never had a name. That’s why I came up with the “Author” title, wasn’t it? I could have sworn…
It’s… probably nothing. Everything is probably fine… No. everything is fine. I’m just being paranoid, someone’s probably just pranking me
Despite… this being private, only known to me. Hm.
[Author's Audio Diary 12/31/42; a transcript is shown below]
Thank the operator the audio diaries automatically transcribe dates, otherwise I would be screwed.
Regardless… I feel like I’m forgetting something. Like other than the name thing, of course. And it feels like i’m… what was I talking about ag— i am reading the transcript and it says I’m talking about forgetting things. Ironic. Anyways. it feels like there’s a hole in my brain that’s fading.
But that doesn’t matter. I can forget as much as I want or don’t want, but I must finish the world machine project. I must finish the world machine project. I must finish the world machine project. I must. I must. I must I must I must I must I must I must ImustImustImustimustimustimus—
The audio cuts and glitches before resuming.
-ame issues as before. I still don’t know what’s causing it. It’s odd…

[[As you may or may not have seen (probably not because like 2 people saw that ask and that includes the one being asked), I am back, as I stopped role playing due to forgetting that i did rp in the first place
the direction I’m going in for this blog is no seriousness. at all. like some wacky slapstick shit Imma tell you that much. I realized that i was trying to be serious and failing miserably. so I decided for the blog to be funny, as most reaper media is serious anyway.
I won’t post a lot, as school exists, but more then I was (which was none).]]
// I’m thinking of doing a OneShot Swap au, Here’s the swaps I already have:
* Prophetbot and Prototype
* Silver and Kip
* Alula and Calamus
* Ling and Plight
Most if not all meta-aware charactes (I.e. Prototype and TWM) will keep their memories of the other routes, but will try their best to fulfill their roles.
But I have a problem: indecisiveness. I don’t know who to swap. So here’s my solution. I will make a series of polls with the options I and the other people I sent asks to have considered. I will wait for those two to respond then do it. After I will continue this RP.
// I decided not to make the polls as I got a surge of inspiration
* TWM and Niko
* Rue and Maize
* Cedric and George
* Watcher and Rowbot
* Kelvin and the Hello Penguin
* Refuge Guardian and Bookbot
* Remaining Gaurdians
Nobody swapped with the author I decided
Reasonings for everyone and general details I formulated under the cut:
Obvious ones: P&P, S&K, A&C, T&N
I swapped the Refuge Gaurdian/Bookbot for the funnies (I just Imagine that one incredibles meme with the desk job, Gaurdian replacing Mr Incredible)
I swapped the remaining Gaurdians, Ling/Plight and Ram herder/Magpie because they have jobs that I thought vibed well.
I swapped Cedric/George and Rue/Maize because they are in swapped areas of the other two, with George and Maize having dedicated rooms and having a bleak outlook in the solstice ending (if in different ways)
I swapped Watcher/Rowbot as I imagine Watcher telling the onboarding & departure time as you get on and off and Rowbot Viewing things like water.
I swapped Kelvin/HP because just because I can Imagine it easily, no specific reason.
General Details
Along with being a swap AU, it’s an aftermath AU.
It entails Niko’s world suffering the same fate as the author’s, and they are the last person alive (don’t worry, it has been a while and Niko has become a lot older as a result). Niko, needing to stay alive, made themself a cyborg. On top of this, to keep their Mental State from forgetting their past, backed up several memories and is reliving them. Niko isn’t perfect though and some memories are jumbled up, like this one.
I will not say what replaces the taming the machine plot, but just know it’s about fixing a problem instead of avoiding it
It does not swap personalities, just situations
Characters that do not appear and do not reside in the world will be swapped
// oh btw i said personalities won’t be swapped, only roles, but i forgot to mention that the personalities will be changed, just the smallest amount possible
(for example: Calamus’ only change is that they get constantly distracted, so he’d likely wander off, and be more innocent. Meanwhile Alula has to pick up on Calamus’s slack, thus be constantly tired and less innocent. They still have around the same level of innocence as canon, but be ever so slightly different)
