In the rare event you haven’t see the director’s cut of Sing, please do that right now. I mean, you’re probably crying today anyway, right?

Go put that shit on high quality, full-screen and wait for it to load. I mean it.

This thing messed me up more than anything else this band did. For hours after I saw this version the first time, I could not stop thinking about it. When the alarms go off and Mikey looks back like “we might not make it out” and they all exchange looks and they know they’re fucked but they’re going to fight anyway. That infamous extra bit where Mikey tries to save G. The Girl screaming in all the chaos. And I had somehow not realized Gerard killed Drac Jimmy before watching this version and the implications of that (see the bit about how the Drac masks work from the comics) and G being so stunned messed me up real good.

The amount of emotion and complex interactions that are packed into this one music video exemplify why I love this album and this band so much.
