Kat was quivering. She couldn’t remember seeing someone so angry, but she was glad she had forgotten if she had. She had small tears in her blue eyes and she looked up at him, “I-I’m sorry…” She murmured. She was scared of his anger, and also Amy’s anger. She felt the scar that was along her jaw, looking down at his feet. She felt small again, and she didn’t want one of her friends to ever do this again.
She held her hands close to her chest, not knowing what to do with herself. She could feel her quiet tendencies come back, and she couldn’t help as the tears went down her cheeks. “S-s-sorry….”
Aidan could see Kat was shaken. He let out a small sigh “I’m sorry, but this hat...It’s important to you.” He said while looking to her with a reassuring smile. “Don’t be sorry.” Aidan lightly tapped the top of her head. “It’s okay!” Aidan quickly said as she began to cry. He pulled her into a hug, feeling bad about how he made her feel. After a long embrace, he let her go. Aidan took one of her hands in his hand and laid the hat into her palm. “That belongs to you.” He said with a smile.
“Please don’t be afraid of me...” He said while holding her hand slightly. She was one of the closest friends he had, he hoped she wasn’t going to be afraid if she remembered.
