A few months after the odd events that occured at the Statue of Liberty, there was a new vigilante that started becoming more active after some small rumors and stories were spread in many different neighbourhoods about someone quietly helping those who needed it, but now it seemed that this person had taken it up a notch...
There had been several sightings of this new vigilante that had been stopping various muggings, kidnappings, robberies, etc.
He had been named 'Phantom' by the public because of the glowing green lenses of his mask and how quickly he dissappeared from the crime scenes or after making sure the victims were okay.
It is believed that he can telleport; others believe that he has super speed, but no one is sure.
All they know is that he has been rather brutal or violent with the criminals at times, though it seemed to depend on the situation...
There was one incident where the Phantom stopped a van by jumping on the hood, punching right through the thick bullet proof windshield inorder to stop it and then knocking the first two criminals. But the last one was shot at point blank range after the children were taken back to their homes.
Everytime the police or any of the Avengers tried to track him down, he would be gone in an instant and is very skilled at avoiding security cameras.
Today Ryan arrived earlier than usual at Midtown, because he wanted to avoid the crowds as much as possible today.
The only reason he could afford to be here is because of the money he stole from his previous homes out of spite, pluss he now had enough money thanks to his part time job that he got at an atnique shop.
He quickly went straight to his locker and swapped some books that he didn't need.
He was wearing a black hoodie, cargo pants, and combat boots with his nails painted black keep from biting them.
He had faded scars on his left hand that started at his wrist and then spread down to his fingers in vertical lines, on his palm as well. He had another scar on his right arm that started at his wrist and up to his elbow, but it was a bit hidden by his hoodie.
The taller teen had only been here for a few months, but was already one of the trouble makers of the school because he often showed up late for class or looked like he got into a few fights because his hands had cuts or bruises on them at times.
His grades were always good though, but his parents were never anywhere to to be seen whenever teachers had tried to contact them.
Peter couldn't explain what it was but something felt off. He had heard about this new vigilante running around helping people. It wasn't exactly a way that Peter agreed with but at least this newcomer used his power to do something good.
Still he couldn't explain why out of the sudden his spidey senses started to tingle and didn't wanted to go off again. Peter exused himself from school for the rest of the day thinking his Spidey job was calling and he had to be preapered. He walked out the school to a safer place where Peter decided to change into his Spider Man suit just in case something bad happened. After he was done he jumped up a roof so he had a better view of his surroundings.
Now Peter was up there looking around trying to finde the source that made his senses go crazy but everything he could find where ordinary looking people going about their day. Students running from one class to another, Teachers preapering their next lessons and teaching and other people who ran past him with bags or business suitcase. There was nothing suspicious happening or someone acting suspicious.
