I don't know what kind of pony he'd be yet (leaning towards unicorn???), but I'd make his cutiemark work in a CMC kinda way with the rest of DICE, like they all got it at the same time and works if they're together (maybe not all ten of them together, but at least 2 or 3)

in PC the CMC were at least somewhat in character and actually got punished for their actions (albeit actions they were pressured into doing). Here they basically ruined Sunset’s life for no reason and got a slap on the wrist despite the fact that such a thing would make infinitely more sense if it took place BEFORE Rainbow Rocks when people would be skeptical of her Face turn instead of AFTER EVERYONE KNEW FOR A FACT SHE WAS A GOOD PERSON.

OH GOD THE MOVIE MADE ME SO HAPPY

I just...I’m just so happy that I saw the MLP Movie.

Spoilery thoughts below the break!

Yes, it’s a very simplistic straightforward adventure story, I’m still disappointed seeing the other three princesses gone just like that, pretty much the lack of impact the Storm King or Grubber had, and the lack of help from anyone other than the celebrity guests. But fuck me, I smiled like an idiot seeing the logo on the big screen, seeing the shot of Canterlot, tapping my foot and nodding my head through most of the songs. Laughed at the stupid jokes "Don’t get too excited, he’s talking about us." "Oh…". I felt nervous seeing Twilight making a plan to steal the pearl. I felt bad seeing Twilight snap at Pinkie Pie. And when Tempest was explaining her backstory, I thought it was really sad that her magic was now seen as raw danger. -And also wow, that was a much better backstory than Starlight’s-. The plot was so predictable, and yet I found myself drawn into the story anyway. Maybe it was just the charm of the ponies that I’ve been watching for almost seven years. I knew Storm King was never going to restore her horn, I knew that Twilight would save Tempest, leading Tempest to sacifice herself to save Twilight. And yet when it did, I still just felt happy that it happened. There was a lot I wish they did, but for what it is, I had fun watching it. If you took the MLP aspect out of it, it probably wouldn’t have been all that great. But they clearly had a goal in mind, and I’d say they accomplished it pretty well. At the very least, be grateful they didn’t do the whole "Ponies come to the real world and help someone find love" bullshit. I’m gonna go listen to the songs again.

I wish I could, @reversalmushroom but given how long it took to actually do this, I don’t think it’s the case anymore.

I have no idea what to do with this blog. Most pony ask blogs have ended with a finale, artists have disappeared, or dropped out of the fandom.

And to be honest, I don’t think people are all that interested in an edgy Fluttershy recolor.

I’m still involved in the fandom, I still watch the show, read the comics, buy toys, I have my own OCs, but what I do is writing rather than drawing. The blog I use the most is over on my side account, @2-ShyShy

I might rename this blog to something else, and do the occasional doodle or show people what I’m writing, but as of now...

I really have no idea what to do with this.
