bug toons probably have a bit of a reputation for being icky or creepy.

Bugs having that reputation is really accurate considering the reputation bugs have in real life. They are considered “scary” “disgusting” “creepy” and all because of legs and extra pair of limbs by the way!

This does make me wonder if Mr.Ring A Ding exists in MOTM considering he’s an anthropomorphic cartoon bug (headcanon: firefly, because of lux imperator and the god of light relation)

This also makes me think what my beloved friends in the motm world, 🌼 is a bug related toon, 🪷 is a fish related toon, 🪻is an angel related toon, and 🌻 is a celestial toon.. me? 🌺?? oh I would be a demon toon most definitely.

If I could give out examples of similarities, 🌼 as any bug toons (no bug toons are shown in motm yet) 🪷 I would say similar to Finn or that one fish oc someone has in a fish bowl, 🪻 I would say similar to alice angel (not yet shown nor revealed or perhaps I can say Ángel from TOD/MOTM AU) and 🌻 as similar as Astro perhaps? that or similar to a plant toon and me? in a humorous way, similar to Bendy.

Adding on, the fourth wall being human makes me question if we see them like watching a map on a 3d point of view. In the comic, we see them as 2d, yes.. but imagine us humans seeing each other and it’s all 3d as we all stare onto the screen/map/comic to see the Myth of the Machine play along the journey of our beloved main characters.

It felt mundane, it felt rather dull. I only felt the drips from the clouds, it was only rain. Is that all will ever happen when I feel frail and sad? You make me happy whenever you’re here with me, but I can’t reach you as I never felt your arms.

I fear loosing you, I hate my lack of company. I brought you chaos yet you reflected it back to me like handing flowers with thorns. We fight and fight but it’ll never be serious, we tease and find our distaste for each other yet we’d never let each other go nor call each other “enemies”.

Sometimes… I feel like I fail at everything even if I know I achieved many “great” things.

Perhaps it’s the unconfirmed imposter syndrome talking.. That I lie to myself or do everything I can and feel like It would never be enough cause it feels like the one who people call “talented” “smart” “creative” “kind” etc. feels like it’s not me at all. It was as if they were telling that to me but that me isn’t myself.

Call me boastful or whatever seems fit, I am aware I can do many things! it’s just— it feels like I am lying to myself if I say that I’m good at anything at all. It feels like I am useless at everything I do EVEN IF I can help and be useful.

But I worry not either way… One sleep, a time pass, all my negative feels will go away. I don’t intend to get deep with my negativity because nothing good will come out of it.

Might you say, “But 🌺 you need to talk to someone about this.” and I have, really… but communication isn’t a cure for what I feel, it lowers only my emotional weight. Though I welcome opinions and prove me wrongs, I’d be interested on what people would think on my insights of things.

I miss them, it feels rather lonely when I’m not interacting with them. Something about their presence makes it feel safe and peaceful.

Their silly antics, their expressions, their interests, everything. I would listen to them all, all day.

I question why I sometimes find myself admiring parts of anger.. Not the evil type where it’s me dismissing your feelings kind of way! More like… the times when someone is annoyed of you but is still fond of you platonically or romantically, in a humorous way!

I suppose it’s probably the way I see the “real” you. The emotions, shown. You are a real person. You are your own person and you express it! You aren’t a doll, you aren’t a toy, you are a real being that lives.

It’s peculiar how I’d accept such behaviors, though you might as well think, “But being angry is bad! that’s toxic if you’d like that.” but here’s the thing.

If someone allows their people pleasure attitude to go away once you’re there, they let go all their masks, they let go all the weight of outside perspective. There are two possibilities of why they expressed their anger, they don’t like you or they trust you enough to react in such a way.

I’m not recommending someone to yell at strangers and etc. by the way! I just find it humorous and adoring how any way you express yourself to friends, partners, maybe family with your emotions to the point you don’t need a mask, you feel free.

If none understands, I suppose you can take the example of teasing your crush, partner, friend and they give that silly “tsundere” type!

Adding onto this, note to whoever reads this, this isn’t an excuse to make fun of people, tease people to the point they breakdown and more. I mean it in a way it doesn’t hurt anyone’s feelings. In a way if they were hurt by what I said? I’d comfort them and show my real intentions was not to hurt them in any sort of way.
