Connor Hawke is the son of Oliver Queen and Sandra "Moonday" Hawke. He is best known for his role as the Green Arrow, taking on the mantle upon his father's death and continuing as the Green Arrow after his resurrection. Connor was raised by his mother, and struggled in school due to being bullied for being mixed race (his mother is Black and Korean and his father is white). At around age thirteen Connor was able to talk his mother into letting him move to a Buddhist Ashram that his father had once stayed at, and there Connor entered the care of Master Jansen, learned martial arts and archery, and became a Buddhist monk. It was at the Ashram that Connor decided to continue the Green Arrow legacy. While serving as the Green Arrow, Connor teamed up with the Green Lantern Kyle Rayner and the Flash Wally West, Robin Tim Drake, Cassandra Cain, and the Justice League.
While Connor is most known for his connection to the Arrow family, as this was what was focused on most heavily in Green Arrow Vol. 3- it is important to remember Connor has strong connections outside of the family as highlighted in Green Arrow Vol. 2! These characters include: Sandra "Moonday" Hawke, Nathan Hawke (Connor's "Gran"), Mastern Jansen, Eddie Fyers, Kyle Rayner, Wally West (and his wife Linda), Tim Drake, and Cassandra Cain!
As of June 2022, Connor has been confirmed as asexual, which solidifies his ace coding from both Green Arrow Vol. 2 and 3!

black comic readers will say "buying black lead comics or black characters comics from dc doesn't stop them from getting axed and it's been literally 1200 days since dc has had a black ongoing so we're calling for a boycott to put pressure on dc by not buying comics and instead directly supporting black creatives" and here come the dumbest white people on the earth going "but dc is releasing pride month comics, do you hate queer people? but dc has female creators releasing comics, do you hate women? this boycott is so disorganised. i can't believe you hate queer people"
Debut/Early YJ- Cassie in her wig era, not much to say other then I got her vest slightly wrong -_- (I keep thinking it looks like Marty McFly's from Back to the Future)
Mid/Late YJ- Also not much notes, if anything this was peak Cassie era
Early Teen Titans- Ok now I can start talking. This outfit was the downfall for Cassie I swear. She has NEVER recovered. The crop top is cut in such a strange way. The pants is Fine, but the lack of stars on it makes it super boring compared to her last red pants design. Last her hair is just Out, usually it would be put in some type of ponytail.
So I mostly threw out most of the design, but I did keep the headband and while her hair is still out, I put some of it in a side pony. I pulled inspo from when she was WW in Sins of Youth because she was wearing Donna Troy's WG outfit, and Im surprised the original design didn't seem to pull some Donna inspo because she quite literally Died before TT03 stared and Cassie was devastated about it. So it wouldn't be shocking if she wanted to represent her in some way.
OYL- Hey are least she has star pants again. The heels are not it though. The tank is fine on its own, but so many times it clearly an excuse to draw attention to her chest (same can be applied with her previous outfit). Hair is out again sigh.
This is probably the closest to her original outfit compared to the other redesigns. All I really did is just made her less sexualized. The biggest thing I can say is I cut her hair to be more shorter because she is going through a pretty big depression during this era (big red arrow at the events of infinite crisis). So short hair = less maintenance = one less stressful thing to worry about.
Late Teen Titans- Goodness this outfit is also really bad and ugly, but I can't really pin point why. Is it the logo? The boring jeans? The same basic blonde comic book women hair? Idk \(-_-)/. At least overall it is hypothetically less sexualized. Hypothetically because she is still sexualized in other ways (ie posing or other casual outfits).
So yeah this was another "throw it all out" design. I tried to imply that her mental health is getting better because her system of support is growing (ie the new titans and the restriction of Kon and Bart), so she isn't exactly isolating herself as she was during the start of OYL. For whatever reason they changed it back to her first OYL design around 2010(?), but Im not doing that, she keeps this outfit until her time as WG is done (that sounds morbid but im not sure how else to word it)
Post comic canon(!)- hey look we are leaving the canon of post-crisis, sorta. In Titans Tomorrow Cassie is shown to become Evil Wonder Woman, but clearly we are not following the Titans Tomorrow timeline (I think there are other issues out there showing her as Wonder Woman *not counting sins of youth because technically it wasn't a "future" thing*, but 1. Im not too sure. And 2. If there are I haven't read them yet). But either way I think she would become a Wonder Woman for a short time, maybe for a year or two.
Personally this is my least favorite design, and probably will get minor tweaks in the future.
Bonus. The silver WW helmet bother me in that panel so I tweaked it a little. Take your pick
After Wonder Woman (Phoenix)- Personally I do think Cassie should have her own mantle (honestly I feel this way with all of YJ). I posted about my Phoenix design before and I still stand that Cassie needs a beautiful bird helmet. She still has short hair underneath the helmet. While not being WW she still wears the logo because Diana basically insisted that she continues to wear it because she still is carrying the message of being WW just without the name.
(I forgot to draw her armpit hair #fuckmychudlife).
Conclusion- im tired. Everyone love Cassie Sandsmark more.
my favorite thing about Jaykyle is that they have the most frat boy sounding names in the world and look like ones too with massive muscles and they constantly butt heads but theyâre actually the biggest fucking nerds ever. jaykyle is peak because jason liking kyle is like his most normal love interest yet. this guy is nice, attractive, good hair, funny, etc. being attracted to kyle rayner is completely normal. kyle being attracted to jason? boy you're Fucked. not only is he a crime lord with brain damage and mental issues, he's also related to Two of your scariest coworkers. and kyle needs to want jason so bad that it still overrides all of that. its Peak
This is so funny to me as a Kyle fan because this is exactly what Gothamites would think. âWhy the hell is sparkle art boy dating Mr. Heads in a Bag?â Oh, you sweet summer child. Kyle isnât scared of Batman. Kyle may not be the same kind of fearless as Hal, but theyâre both absolutely unflappable in the face of intentionally scary people. Kyle has the additional benefit of Not Being Hal Jordan, which means Batman actually somewhat likes him. Brain damage? Kyleâs got dealing with that down pat, being friends with Guy âHead Traumaâ Gardner. Mental issues? Hal Jordan. Enough said.
On the romantic side, Kyleâs been falling for unstable/unavailable/uninterested guys for years. The only difference is if, this time, they actually manage to get together.
I honestly have no clue who the second âscaryâ coworker is. Tim? Konâs boyfriend? Bartâs teammate?The kid that Kyle literally gave the JL vouch needed to form Young Justice? Damian? That ninja boy that Connor Hawke befriended during that fighting tournament? The aspiring artist and manga fan like him? Dick? The guy with all the same friends as Kyle? The one who couldnât be unfair to Kyle without ripping half of the original Titans roster apart between two of their beloved friends? I can only think of Cass, but Cass isnât a coworker. If youâre in the mainstream hero community (Justice League, Teen Titans, etc), one of your friends knows Kyle. Nightwing may be an icon, but he was never on Justice League proper. His relationships with the older heroes is by proxy, either through their Titan sidekicks, or through Batman. Kyle knows them personally. If you genuinely threaten Kyle, youâll immediately receive a death glare from any heroes in the room.

Fancomic of a reunion between Barry Allen and Hal Jordan, page 1.
Panel 1: Barry and Hal sit atop a building, both in hero uniform except for Barryâs cowl pulled down. The city lights illuminate them from below against a starry dusk sky. Hal says, âGlad we can finally catch up with each other like this.â
Panel 2: Hal turns his head in Barryâs direction, revealing bright green cracks forming at the corner of his eye. âMust be nice to slow down for once, huh?â he says.
Panel 3: Closeup of Barryâs eyes going wide, noticing the fractures on Halâs face.
Panel 4: Closeup of Halâs eyes, green cracks spreading across his mask. The faint outline of his pupils glance up at Barry.
Panel 5: Barry looks stunned in return.
Panels 6-9: Sequence of the cracks spreading from Halâs neck to his chest and arms, all the way down to his hand. Barry tentatively reaches out to place his hand on top of it, thumb rubbing the fracture on one of Halâs fingers as if trying to smooth it out.
Panel 10: Barry turns his head away, the top half of his face cut off by the panel. âYeah,â he says stiffly.

Panels 1-2: Hal is in silhouette, viewed from behind. He looks down at their hands before looking back up with a smile. âSomeoneâs clingy.â
Panel 3-5: The sequence of panels are outlined like cracked glass. Barryâs hand stills on top of Halâs but he canât bring himself to let go. He squeezes it instead. âSorry,â he says. A close-up of his eye glances up, filled with guilt.
Panel 6: Hal looks back at Barry, the panel taking up most of the page and shattering like a broken window. In half of the shards, Hal is the same, present in GL uniform with the sky darkening behind him. In the other shards, Hal resembles the version of him from Barryâs nightmare, skin burnt and mottled with green cracks all over his body in the same place as what Barry had been seeing.
Current Hal starts to say, âYou miss me that much?â
Nightmare Hal says in faint, cracked word bubbles, âIt killed me, but you wouldnât know that âcause you werenât here. As usual.â
Current Hal continues to say, âCâmon, it hasnât been THAT long.â
Page 3: Sequences of flashbacks fill the page like shattered glass. All the figuresâ faces in each panel are obscured.
Panel 1: Parallax gestures with his arms out in a grandiose manner, green light swirling behind him. Barryâs narration box reads: âHalâŚâ
Panel 2: Barryâs Flash statue stands upright with a streak of green from Halâs flight making a path right past him. The memory invokes the time Hal visited Barryâs statue after Barryâs death.
Panel 3: Barry looks down at his hand grimly, his whole body vibrating. Hal is right behind him, giving him a small, supportive smile. The memory invokes the time Barry came back to life with Hal comforting him as he tried to readjust.
Panel 4: Barry and Hal are sitting at a bar construct in the sky as Hal smiles at Barry with a hand on his shoulder. The memory invokes the time Hal gave Barry advice and reminded him that every second is a gift.
Panel 5: Barryâs POV of looking at his own hands, sharp-taloned and weathered by the Speed Force. His suit is singed off up to his wrists and sparks fly off his skin. Past his hands is Nightmare Halâs dismembered body, broken up into fractured blocks. The memory invokes the time Barry shattered Hal in Knight Terrors. Barryâs narration box reads: âI could never miss you enough.â

Panel 1-2: Flash-forward to Hal and Barry on the roof, a close-up of Barryâs hand on Halâs as before, except they both resemble the ones from the nightmare. He lifts his hand off of Halâs. The panels are outlined like cracked glass.
Panel 3-5: The panels are outlined in green. Barry forces a smile, looking up at the sky instead of Hal. âYou wish,â he says. The next panel zooms in on their hands which have returned to normal. Barryâs hand now sits next to Halâs, but itâs vibrating tensely against him. A close-up of Halâs eyes glance down at it.
Panel 6: From behind, Hal stares up ahead pensively. Barry is silhouetted, head tilted downwards.
Page 5: A series of 3 present-day panels overlay a backdrop of sequential panels. The background panels are framed like a broken window, each fracture a panel.
Present-day panels:
Panel 1: Barryâs hand vibrates tensely when it gets nudged by Halâs pinky. Hal and Barryâs hands resemble their hands from the nightmare, with Halâs hand fractured with green cracks and Barryâs hand sharp and weathered. A panel in the background reveals a shot of Barry looking down in trepidation at Halâs touch.
Panel 2: Halâs hand reaches over Barryâs hand, fingers going beneath his palm. The cracks in Halâs hand are fading. Barryâs hand is also starting to return to normal.
