It was still piping hot when Character A settled the bowl in front of him, yet Character B couldn't wait another second. However, when he was about to lift the food into his lips, Character A took ahold of his wrist and lightly blew—careful to not encapsulate it with frost.
Character B squirmed in his seat, accompanied by his foolish grin. After sheepishly thanking the other, he wasted no time shoving the food into his mouth.
Character A's eyes were strictly trained on him, silently asking how it was.
He leisurely chewed, taking note of the slow drag down his throat. Finally, he lifted his head to look at Character A. "...It's good."
"You're lying," Character A shot back. He knew he was no cook, it was imposible it'd turn out immaculate even with his cautious handling!
"I'm not!" As if to prove himself, Character B scooped another bite, cooling it down this time. And yet, he couldn't resist teasing, "It's not like I'm the God of Deception or something..."
Character A didn't pout, it was above him, Character B would like to disagree, however. He couldn't help himself, it was difficult not to pamper such a spoiled noble he'd grown fond of.
He lifted Character A's hand to cradle is cheek against his palm. Putting a persuasive look he knew the other adored, Character B purred, "Whatever you make is good. You're good to me."
How could Character A argue with that? He couldn't! He accepted his fate as he lightly caressed the other's face. Instead of retaliating, he argued, "It's still inedible."
Character B gasped, offended on his behalf. Before Character A could even think of grabbing it, he quickly gathered the bowl into his arms, not unlike a mother embracing her child. "You can't throw it away! No one discards my food!"
How could Character A argue with that? He couldn't.
