COURSE SELECTION IS HARD AUGHgjlkajsf
But I think I’m gonna really go for an Astronomy Minor, or at least dip my toes in it and see what the math and physics is like.
I struggled a lot in high school in maths and sciences because of a mix of self-esteem issues related to academics and also because I just had no idea why I was learning the stuff I was learning so I had absolutely zero motivation to learn it because I thought that having to get these mandatory math credits to graduate despite having absolutely no passion in it was stupid and annoying
Long story short I barely passed with a 54 in math and 66 in Chemistry I think, which was enough for me to get my stupid diploma
So the fact that I’m considering fucking astrophysics is so bizarre and I’m freaking out ‘cause obviously math and science has never been my strong point, but a lot of why I didn’t study was because I had no incentive besides “you need the credit”
So I feel like maybe this time it might be different because I’m actually interested in astronomy, I absolutely loved the two courses I took in first year and it probably helps that it didn’t have math involved, but it still had theoretical science and overall I understood it so I mean idk maybe it’ll be okay idk
