My mind went to Peeta saying this in general if he was not allowed to make and decorate his kids’ cakes for whatever reason. (Like he broke both of his arms because he would probably try to do it with one arm still) Then I looked at the picture, and I think mad would be an understatement.

This was Peeta's worst nightmare. He thought he was going to be fine with getting carpel tunnel surgery three months before any of his family's birthdays, but his hand was refusing to regain it's strength fast enough to properly use a piping bag was it going to be the end of him.

This wouldn't normally be a problem because he should be able to use his other hand. But in his stubbornness in not needing help, Peeta broke his other arm shoveling, and it was now trapped in a sling. Katniss talked him into hiring a baker rather than trying to talk her through decorating a cake again. It only lead to arguments and hurt feelings last time.

It doesn't matter how many arguments and hurt feelings the two of them would of had, whatever Katniss would have been able to squeeze out would have been better than this monstrosity.

The whack jobs that charged them $49 dollars for a "frog themed" cake is INSANE. The bakery had the world of creative interpretation because his son's only speculation was for frogs. But no, these people thought that it would be funny to ice a cake in light green with a boarder with the EXACT same color. The only contrast on the entire cake was the slightly darker green smiley face and 3 (or butt depending who you asked, but Peeta refused to agree with the other three people in his family).

Now if only he could find Katniss and try and convince her that she has enough skills to at least make a blob of frosting that obtusely resembled a frog.

Oh no, nonononono.

Clear or near-clear urine is an indication that you drank too much water. Your body has to do work to produce urine, and drinking enough water that you're peeing clear means that you're putting undue stress on your kidneys (or you're lacking in electrolytes).

It's not too bad if your urine is clear every once in a while, maybe you were just extra thirsty and drank extra water that day. But it's not something you should consistently strive for. Remember that water can be toxic in high enough quantities.

I'm gonna put my mom hat on and remind everyone that you can explain almost anything to a child as long as you explain it at their level.

"Sometimes people are born and girl and feel they should have been a boy, so they decide to live as a boy". My four year old understood that instinctively.

"Sex is when people touch each other's bodies and it feels good, but it's usually something you don't get interested in until you become a teenager. Masturbation is when you touch your own body and it feels good. " That was how I explained sex to a 6 year old.

"Some people are having a hard time with drugs or have a mental illness that needs treatment. If you see someone acting weird in public but they aren't hurting anyone or themselves, you can just give them space." A classic city neighborhood lesson.

You can explain human things without creating a cocoon of shame over every aspect of life. My goal as a parent is to raise an informed, empathic adult who doesn't turn in fear from other people.
