Kamchia beach around Kamchia river mouth is one of most untouched and beautiful beaches on Black Sea shore of Bulgaria. The photo is taken during 'Kamchia Sands' half marathon run. This is one of the purest and most pristine competitions in the country situated completely on the beach and most people going there are barefoot. The organizers from Greet Foot made a clean up action the day before, south of the river mouth (around 1-2km from the place of the photo). There was another clean up action a week before that, but the beach there is so dirty that the campaigns couldn't cover the whole beach that is around 10km long. Daily life. Old women living in a village of Gubesh in north western Bulgaria very close to the border with Serbia. Now the village have around 20 permanent residents going to 50 in the summer, but fifty ears ago it was more than 800. Same fate is shared by a lot of bulgarian villages and some of them are even completely dead.
