Atsu glanced up from her burner phone before registering someone talking to her

"Heya, yeah, I'm Atsu. I'm traveling around, y'know? I- this isn't my usual place but on well"

"Atsu is a cute name. I'm Kazuki." He grinned, straightening up. "Nice to meet you!"

She shook his hand, looking him up and down - this man looked oddly familiar. He reminded her of Hawks

"Have we met before?

They chuckled, rubbing the back of their neck. "Uh, I doubt so. Your name doesn't ring a bell."

Kazuki squirmed a bit under the scrutiny, tilting his head. "Are you confusing me with my brother?"

A faint blush covered her face - of course Atsu would confuse a stranger for someone she knew!

"Ah! So, so so sorry! Who's your brother?"

She rocked her self backward and forwards (a habit she'd yet to get rid of) ruining her already beat up trainers

Kazuki giggled, then chuckled, and then had to stifle a cackle at Atsu's embarrassment.

"Oh, it's embarrassing.." He sighed, squeezing his hands together. "It's Hawks."

Kazuki pawed at the floor with their shoe, looking up and pausing with an amused smirk at the rocking.

"... Hawks has a brother...?! Oh my goodness! I- he never- oh when I next see him-!"

She cleared her throat, focusing on the floor beneath her

"Roughly a year or something like that ago, Hawks adopted me. I can't remember him mentioning a brother before"

"Um, well.." They stammered-- "He's kind of distant towards me- I mean, he adopted me, I mean- us.." Kazuki's wings flickered behind them in shock.

She sighed. "Does that make me your older sibling or something?? How old are you? I mean, I've been legally under his name since I was, like, 9. We should ask him about it." They shook their head, fidgeting with their nails. "Why didn't he mention anything. He wouldn't keep something like that from me..?"

Atsuko sighed - oh when she got her hand on this man! He had so much explaining to do!

"Oh, I'm like, umm. Actually that's a great question! Probably, like, fifteen? Yeah, that sounds about right."

Pink eyes blinked, realization pouring into every rosy hue

"He probably did say anything because I used to be an assassin. He really didn't want that getting out but I don't really care I people know, y'know?... Does this mean your my uncle?!"

Kazuki immediately lit up at the mention of her being an assassin. "Ah, I was trained to be one. What a coincidence! And.. yeah you should totally listen to him. Especially around Musutafu.."

She paused, gulling audibly. "Word spreads fast. And-and hey, I'm not your uncle or whatever-! I'm like, a sibling or something. I'm not that old!"
