Why have underwear & swimwear companies decided vaginas should be no wider than 1” maybe 1.5” if they’re feeling generous… stop trying to make narrow pussy happen it’s not going to happen
In a perfect world we'd have a muppets odyssey movie rn
Everyone who has access to ESPN should put the women's professional baseball league on their tv. I don't care whether you like baseball or not, put it on in the background.
They're gonna determine whether they get another season based on viewership and attendance this year. Viewership and support is how we got a professional women's hockey league expansion, let's do it for baseball too.
Go support women's professional sports.
"my great grandmother who survived 3 wars and raised 10 children by herself while working in a factory watching me go to therapy because my parents yelled at me" ok but your great grandmother was also miserable. maybe your great grandmother would be happy you try your best to not be miserable
one time i went to the doctor and said "i think i have some sort of damage in my neck from hurting it on a trampoline as a teen" and the doctor said "no you don't." and i said, "well, the day after i hurt my neck, my bioparents tried to make me climb a mountain because they didn't believe i was hurt, and just a few minutes up the mountain i sat down on the side of the trail because i was in so much pain i couldn't keep walking, and they just left me there, and eventually i forced myself to climb the rest of the mountain because i was terrified they were going to legitimately abandon me on the side of the mountain forever. and i'm here today because it just recently occurred to me that when most people say 'i have a crick in my neck' they mean 'i slept funny and now i'm a little sore' and not 'i'm functionally bedbound at the moment due to severe neck pain'." and the doctor said "you have permanent nerve damage in your neck."
My woke take, as someone who has worked in both a public library and a school library, is that we desperately need both more books that are at a higher reading level but a less mature subject matter, and more books that are at a lower reading level but a more mature subject matter, because 8 year olds who are advanced readers are still 8 year olds and don't want to read about graphic violence and torture, and teens and adults who have learning difficulties or who are just later readers for whatever reason are still teens and adults and don't want to read about Billy the Bunny going to school or whatever the hell.
Shoutout to people in the notes also mentioning people learning the language, I should've mentioned that really, given that I've been stuck reading German picture books myself while learning German.
it’s amazing how women are able to navigate crowded rooms without ever touching a palm to a man’s lower back
those dudes who make those cringy "this is what every [insert popular female artist]'s song sounds like" while acting all ditzy with a whiny voice annoy me so bad. as do the men who think peak comedy is throwing on a cheap wig/towel/t-shirt to mimic having long hair and making fun of women for inoffensive behaviour. and how could I forget about the men who read tumblr posts and fake laugh for the camera? and the male gossipers and the male wannabe fashion critics as well.
should they suffer? alright, clap if you think they should suffer
I want to live my life so that I’ll be able to read an in-depth biography about myself in later years and not puke.
Liza Weil as Paris Geller in Gilmore Girls (2000-2007)
You can’t call your clothing gender neutral if it can’t fit a female body. If it cannot fit ass, hips, and boobs, it’s not gender neutral clothing you just think being male is the default
i know Headmistress Bloodgood is sick and tired of this friend group. these ghouls missing whole ass semesters. the other students are demanding more sick days because Miss 2 Day Old Frankie and her pals keep getting life altering news. one of these days they're gonna ask if their friends can come and Bloodgood's just gonna be like "no. go be the damn vampire queen alone"
It's amazing how often in bad faith arguments people will redefine "Harm" to advance their belief.
BDSM "isn't harmful" despite the physical and emotional abuse of women.
Podcast bros "aren't harmful" because it's just "lads talking".
According to the police men with explosive anger or coercive control aren't causing "harm" because "He wasn't being violent" But they claim women are "Just as bad" as men because in that case "Gossip" and "Manipulation" are defined as harm. When women at a rally in New Zealand were physically assaulted it wasn't "harm" it was "Righteous anger in defence of identity" but when women use tweets to argue that they deserve and require sex-based spaces it's redefined as violence.
When men are aggressive it's downplayed and mitigated and when women are aggressive even in defence of themselves or their own rights it is catastrophised.
