i have not been on tumblr in many years but im BACK! purely because the need to yap about f1 was too strong and my irls got annoyed <\3

mostly rooting for piastri and leclerc this season but honestly i think most of the drivers r pretty cool! (congrats tumblr you’ve also persuaded me of logan sargeant!!! pls lord give him a seat for next year)! fav driver of all time is Nico rosberg bc <3 i watch f1 for the engineering, the strategy, the narrative, and the lols. also a BIG fan of Le Mans (my team won!!!!) and classic f1 as well!

This of course refers to Alan Jones scotring points (by virtue of winning) and Didier Pironi going through the seven circles of Ligier hell. Weirdly it doesn’t seem unattainable even if I’m realistic and that it will be extremely hard but I keep on believing. I will keep on believing until the last lap and the last turn. We will see, we know we’re not in the best position but I will give it my all to do something special. The goal is to go above and beyond expectations, we will take many risks I think, maybe it will pay off maybe not but in any case we can’t have a different approach because if we do a normal race we won’t get the championship.

Franco: Well, yes, you could say that. washing a overralls is hard, and I didn't know how. one day I broke one, in the washing machine it shrank. I also travel a lot, and as a kid, I often went to hotels. Sometimes you leave things with the hotel staff, and it takes them a long time to wash them, so you have to find a quicker solution. my quick way was the shower... a bit of shampoo and when the shampoo rinses off...

Pablo: Do you think what comes off with the shampoo is enough?

Franco: Then I would take off my overalls and wash myself too...
