Day 6 of penciltober. Still experimenting with different art styles for my comicbook. I'd love to hear your feedback!
Day 5 of Inktober.... kinda. In my journey to find an art style that will work well for my comic and that doesn't take forever, I think I've settled on this. Unfortunately it's not really "inking" per se. So instead I'll just post my 'pencils' the rest of this month. Oh well.

I've been away for awhile but I'm back and committing to do inktober. For those who don't know what that is, every day in the month of October you post an inked drawing. They are going to be referencing my upcoming comic book about a cowboy and a trex stay tuned.
Today's Sunday painting. The legendary tiger bear
So after thinking a lot about my original comic idea I decided it would be too dark story wise and visually. I wanted to do something more upbeat and fun. Here's a quick concept sketch of the main character for my new comic. Hopefully I'll be able to start releasing it in about a month!
I painted this lil octopus in church today. Next time you're feeling down or like life is stacked against you just imagine this guy on the sidelines cheering you on! Don't give up.

Finished this commission or Kaladin from 'Way of Kings' by Brandon Sanderson. Probably my favorite book I've ever read. I definitely recommend it.
Here's a commission I finished today. They wanted a print of the drawing in the left which I drew in 2013. I decided to redraw it and make it look nicer so here is the 2016 version. It's crazy to see how much I've improved since then.
