;;this is a weird post - and it doesn’t apply to everyone of course. Hello - I am Hattei and I have a small issue.

As you can see, I RP Sycamore when I’m not on hiatus - and something has been popping up that makes me feel very uncomfortable. If you are also a Sycamore RPer, can you please not reblog any of my posts?

It sounds ridiculous I know. A part of me is glad that you look at the posts and go “yes, this is Augustine, good, I want this on my blog” but it makes me extremely anxious to know that other Sycamore RPers have been on my blog. Its only because I’m sure you are much better at portraying him than I am, and feel like I’m not worthy of your time. 

I know its dumb, but it makes me really uncomfortable and I’m sorry to ask this. (If you really want to reblog that post, please click the reblogged from link!)

He had heard the question countless times. Dexio, Sina, Diantha, even Lysandre himself, but he was never was certain which of the voices were real and which were just a figment of his imagination. Laughing he picked up the near empty bottle of wine, and brought to his lips. 

It had gotten to the point where he no longer recognised the taste of the bitter liquid. After his third swig from the bottle, he laughed almost bitterly. 

“I suppose I could ask you the same thing about appearing in my living room like this.” Augustine couldn’t care at this point for the answer, but he felt like it was the only thing he could say. He took another plentiful swig.

“But if you must know, mon ami, it usually happens when I miss you.” Which happened to be a lot, so it happened. Augustine wanted to sob. He wanted to breakdown and tell Lysandre to come back already and explain his actions, but he couldn’t. He wouldn’t. Augustine Sycamore was alone.

It was none of the girls concern. She had seen something that she shouldn’t have and since then Steven had been forced to listen to all of her questions. It was getting to the point where he was finding it hard to hold back his temper. 

“Look, I don’t know what you think you saw, but it’s none of your business.” It was no secret that the Stones were part of a much larger network of gunmen and hit men. Their group, Devon, was one of the most notorious in the region and most people knew not to mess with them.

May on the other hand didn’t seem to fear him like the others did. That was a problem. Steven had already been at the butt of many a joke about how they could become the new Romeo and Juliet due to the pairs differences and the rule not to affiliate yourself with those outside of Devon. 

Sighing, he ended up staring at the young woman for a while. Not doing much else but blinking.

“You saw me do what the father asked.” He didn’t need to mention that he was in fact related by blood to the godfather of the operation - it was pointless at this point. “But now I need you to be quiet. I need you to not utter anything. No blood, no body, no gun. Nothing. You hear?”

He waited, gauged her reaction before nodding slightly and turning his head away.

“Good, we can’t have Devon finding out you’re a snitch. It wouldn’t end well for either of us.”

➐ Are there any people you’ve been to afraid of approaching?

There /were/ people I was scared to approach, but that’s because I’m shipping trash and was anxious that those people would be like “Hattei, thats my notp right there stop.” But the majority of you (i.e. The people I’ve talked to) seem lovely and I had no reason to be scared?

➓ What were some of the most frustrating moments you had with your muse’s interaction with another muse?

Trying to remember if it is masculine or feminine French. I’ve been learning french on and off since I was about 12, but I still struggle sometimes with the language and will only use small phrases as such. (It’s amusing because in nearly every RP group I’ve been in - at least one point I’ve had a French muse).

Another frustrating thing I find with every group is trying to work out timezones so that I don’t post a reply in the middle of that person’s night and they find out that I did in fact reply, but only weeks down the line. (But does that count as Muse Interaction?)

If I’m honest I don’t really get frustrated with RPs, except one time when I was RPing as Wallace in another group and my RP partner made him say something in the starter they wrote. That was the only time I’ve been annoyed.

➍ Would you say you’re a decent roleplayer or do you have any self doubts?

Oh boy, this is a question… I guess I’m always going to have doubts about my writing style and whether or not I’m in character. Personally I worry that I’m not quite good enough when it comes to Sycamore, but thats only because he’s still a new muse to me. When I put him in the group I had been looking for somewhere to put him for about three months beforehand so I was concerned that because I had this muse for 3 months and not actually wrote anything - that perhaps my replies would be shoddy.I’d like to think I was somewhat okay? Given that I can still pull out threads that make at least some sense. Also looking back from 2012 when I first started to RP on tumblr, I’ve certainly improved.

➎ Have you made lots of friends on this blog?

I’m still relatively new to WE as it is. However I’m super bad at making friends. There have been a few people I’ve talked to one on one in skype - but I suck at keeping that up and I feel it may have affected threads and things. (That and I’m really insecure and worry all the time people don’t want me around lmao.) 

However, if people wanna talk to me I’m always open to talk stuff :”D I try and talk in the group chat a fair bit, but lag and timezones kind of kill that one for me. (And I do feel like I’ve made more friends via Syc than Steven…)
