Trumpâs Justice Department just created a $1.8 billion slush fund for MAGA loyalists, and even Senate Republicans are panicking.
They are calling it an âanti-weaponizationâ fund, but the name is propaganda. This is Trump using the Justice Department to turn taxpayer money into a political payoff machine for people who claim they were targeted by Bidenâs DOJ.
The fund is so toxic that it has already blown up Trumpâs budget package in the Senate.
Republicans were trying to ram through tens of billions for ICE and Customs and Border Patrol, but now their own members are threatening to vote no because they do not want to defend a fund that could send public money to Jan. 6 defendants.
Senate Republicans are already cracking. House Republicans are nervous. That means pressure is working. Congress must stop this before Trump turns the Treasury into a reward system for political violence and MAGA grievance.
Tell your members of Congress to kill Trumpâs $1.8 billion insurrection slush fund in reconciliation and pass Rep. Jamie Raskinâs bill to shut it down for good.

Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche had to rush to Capitol Hill to salvage it. He failed.
Hardly any Republicans defended the fund, and senators left the meeting still talking about restrictions, guardrails, and whether the entire bill would collapse if Trump insists on keeping this corrupt giveaway alive.
Letâs be clear: This insurrection slush fund is blatant lawlessness. Trump sued over the leak of his tax returns, dropped the case, and his own administration created a taxpayer-backed fund that would benefit the same political movement that attacked the Capitol on January 6.
Oh, but thatâs not all. According to the DOJ, the settlement also blocks the IRS from auditing or pursuing charges tied to Trumpâs past, present and future tax returns, including his family and his businesses. That means Trumpâs Justice Department is not just creating a slush fund for his allies. Itâs also a scheme designed to let the entire Trump empire never pay taxes again.
Rep. Jamie Raskin has introduced legislation to block taxpayer money from being spent on this corrupt and dangerous scheme.
We must strike now, while the iron is hot, to build support to stop this deal. Send your message now and demand Congress stop Trumpâs insurrection slush fund before a single dollar goes out the door.
