Hey, all! You may remember me talking about a project I’ve been working on this month. And this is it! To lift a bit from the itch.io page:

Play as a struggling MeTuber named Jack, who has a fixation for the strange and unusual. A self-proclaimed “cryptid hunter” and even more self-proclaimed “master monsterfucker,” Jack (with a malleable appearance and gender based on player input) intends to travel the world to seek out the creepy creatures lurking in its dark underbelly.

But there’s a bigger secret bubbling beneath the surface, and each sexy monster might be more connected than you think…

Let’s Hunt! is Knotty Media’s first project, and is currently in development with a planned 23 monsters to romance in a blend of point-and-click and visual novel styles. From revenants to werewolves to cryptids to tentacle monsters, there’s a little something for everyone!

First, there was nothing. No beam of light, no all-encompassing warmth the moment his last breath slipped past his lips and his heart beat no more. Nothing, not even the familiar stretch of darkness that would blanket his room at night, something he feared as a younger child. Funny, because that’s what he was when he died, a child.  Is it a tragedy, really, if he was okay with it? That he had his whole life ahead of him and understood, in the last second of it, that it did not bother him, that he would never be an adult? From what he remembers, yes, yes he’d accepted it. That it was okay. Then there was light. A shining, bright light that seemed to burn every cell of his body, terrifyingly hot. It struck him with ten times the power of a static shock, a band of white--no, no, a ring of white--illuminating the darkness.  Kid Eternity of Eternity, a voice, low yet soothing spoke to him from nowhere and yet everywhere. You have been chosen. Simultaneously, before he can move to shy away from the bright ring of light, the darkness moves beside him. Something, he doesn’t know what forms in the shadows cast by the white ring. It oozes out of the blackness, dripping muck off its body until the goo finally takes shape, a ring made entirely of shadow. Its aura is cold and stings up his left arm, powerful as ice water.  Kit Freeman of Earth, another voice, this one is deep, like mud bubbling out of a swamp. Rise.  He can do nothing, only watch as the twin rings move, floating onto his left and right ring fingers, and then, with a choking gasp, he breathes once more.  The world of nothing falls away. Around him, stars, distant and near, light the void around him like millions of candles. Hazy trails of purples, reds, and whites snake across the stars in a never-ending circle where he floats, alone and very much alive. At first, he does nothing, just remains still. Then his eyes burn and his throat tightens and a choking little whimper leaves him, lost in the bottomless vastness of space. “I don’t want this.” --- Commission for @cptmarveljr ! I had a lot of fun doing this commission! Poor Kit has a lot in store for him as a dual White and Black Lantern.

NOTE: The more complex your piece is–for example, a detailed background with three characters and shaded colors–might have a higher price than is listed due to the amount of labor that’s required. You will, of course, be informed of the exact price before an invoice is sent. There will be no fees added later; the exact charge will be given to you before I begin.

Payment is due through PayPal or Venmo. Once your commission is accepted you will either be sent an invoice or money request depending on your method of payment. If you are given an invoice on PayPal please pay only from the invoice. Do not try to send the payment using the “gift” or “pay for goods and services” options

You are required to pay in full upfront for any and all commissions. Commissions costing more than $100 will be split, half up front and half upon completion. No work will be started until I’ve received payment for the commission.

- DC/Marvel: My “specialty” mostly lies with the Batfam, Green Lanterns, Spiderman/Venom, and any mainstream Marvel hero/villain. This includes any animated film, major film releases, video games, and old media. For example, you can request anything from Avengers Infinity War to Batman ‘66 to Dark Knight Rises to Netflix's Daredevil

.- Video Games: Assassin’s Creed, Bioshock, Detroit: Become Human, Dishonored, Fallout, Far Cry, GTA, Prototype, Saints Row, Silent Hill, The Evil Within, Outlast, and Overwatch

.- Film/Television: Hannibal, Inception, John Wick, Mad Max, Mission Impossible: Fallout, Prison Break, Star Wars (Major Releases), and The Man From U.N.C.L.E.

- Original Characters: The rule for original content is to provide me with a lot of references/summaries of who they are/world/personality traits.

MIGHT DO:

-DC/Marvel: Despite being a big fan of comics there are still arcs and characters that I don’t know. If you request a character outside my “specialty” be sure to include from what media or comic storyline you would like me to base their characterization off.

-Anime: I don’t watch a lot of anime, however, there are a few I have a good understanding of to be able to write. This includes; Bleach, Haikyu!!, Mob Psycho 100, and Yuri on Ice

- Art: Small comic strips.

WILL NOT DO:

- Absolutely no underage (unless the work is rated G-PG)

- RPF

- Works over 20,000 for now

- I will not draw very detail-oriented armor, mecha, extremely complex backgrounds, or comic strips.

- When it comes to kinks I will not write/draw, please discuss it with me since I’m trying not to include buzzwords to get this post flagged.

FAQ

How long will it take for my commission to be finished?

The age-old saying is true, the longer the word count or more detailed the piece, the longer it will take. Smaller commissions should only take a week or two after I receive payment, while longer pieces may take several weeks or a month. As a side note, being this is my first time taking commissions, this is a tentative timeframe and it could end up shorter or longer.

However, if you are ever concerned with how much time has gone by since I have accepted your payment, please don’t hesitate to check in.

How old do I have to be to commission you?

So long as you’re old enough to have a Paypal or Venmo! However, if you’re requesting something rated R to NC-17 you must be over 18, no exceptions.

Will the finished commission be posted anywhere?

Yes, all writing commissions will be posted to Ao3 and art to Tumblr/Twitter. For writing commissions, you can decide whether to remain anonymous or take credit for posting. For art, you will also receive a PNG/JPEG of the image over email that you may post anywhere you’d like, so long as credit is given.

Will I get to see it before it goes up?

Absolutely. Once I finish writing you will be linked to a Google doc containing the rough draft. There you can suggest edits and minor corrections to make sure the story is the one you want to be told. Likewise, for art, once the picture is done you will be sent an email of the image with a watermark where you can suggest edits and minor corrections.

What if I don’t like my commission? Can I get a refund?

Due to labor and time spent writing or drawing your commission, there will be no refunds. If you are not satisfied with your piece after posting, small edits and rewrites are still possible, but a full redo of your piece is not. Make sure to be extremely detailed and specific when communicating what you want before you commission me. Likewise, make sure you take advantage of suggesting edits in the pre-posting phrase to avoid this situation.

An exception to this rule is that if, for any reason, I am unable to complete your commission, you will be refunded up to 50% of what was charged depending on how much time has gone into it.

I reserve the right to refuse any commission for any reason, whether or not it’s listed on this page.

I… may not have been prepared for the length of the fic, um, with just the sheer amount of scenes to shift through and choose (plus, irl got real busy). It’s really awesome and there has been so much work put in, please check it out!

@kiwiliko has also done some fantastic work drawing a short visual novel for this fic and it’s jaw-dropping.
