Hiya! I’m Axis, yes, like the math term. I used to be known as mic, but ya know, shit changes.
Some stuff you should know about me will be in this post, but you can pretty much skip it. For old followers, my ao3 handle has changed to my username, but it’s underscores instead of dashes lol.
So. Hi. I’m axis. I use he/him and they/them, in no particular order lol (I also have a pronouns page with other info if you want to check it out :3). I write fanfics, as such, do note that anything I post, write, or make in regards to any fandom I’m in does NOT mean that I support what I have written (ie, bullying, murder, theft, etc.).

Back in February I made a post asking for financial help regarding me needing to move out on a tight schedule. I appreciate everyone donated then, and you all made a huge difference. I was very close to getting an apartment when I got laid off at the end of June.
Now I am looking at a situation where I could be homeless. I could also end up finding a temporary place, but it would only be short term, and I am still working towards finding a place to live. Due to being laid off my finances have been strained.
I managed to get a job with retail, but it's going to be a while before I start. I've continued with selling off more of my magic cards, clothes, jewelry and collectibles. Tomorrow I hope to sell more. If you're interested in that, please reach out. Or, if you want, I can write you something.

we have dandelions EVERYWHERE, they are basically our State Weed, it is absolutely impossible that my mom has never interacted with a dandelion before, this requires further investigation
So after extensive interrogation I have an update:
my mom is in fact aware that dandelions exist. she temporarily forgot the name and there was some miscommunication.
the truth is actually weirder
she’s aware dandelions look like this
she is familiar with this flower. she knows the name of this flower. she declines to believe, however, that these are also dandelions
she does not believe these are the same plant. I tried to explain, and she thought I was either misinformed or lying. so I asked her what exactly did she think the yellow ones were called?
she answered, with complete confidence: Daffodils.
“buttercups” is a name applied to MANY flowers. in my part of the south it was this one:
imo there’s correct identifications of dandelions, daffodils, easter lilies and marigolds in this thread, but buttercups are simply impossible to agree on and the only solution is for everyone to post pictures of their local buttercups
When Soul firsts starts going on missions without Maka after they graduate, he worries a lot about leaving her alone. Not because she can’t take care of herself in an emergency but when she get busy or is laser focused on a task she will forget to eat or drink any water. He’ll make sure to regularly send her messages to remind her to take a break or ask someone to check in on her if he hasn’t heard from her all day.
I also like to think that even though they still are partners, since Soul is now a death scythe he has to go with Kid to a lot of meetings. Soul and Maka will still go on missions together on occasion but Maka started teaching at DWMA. She’s a very strict teacher and most students kinda dread her class. But they also think she’s super cool and are hoping they can butter her up to get her to ease off the tests and have her train them personally.
When Soul shows up to her class there is no point ion trying to calm the kid as down. So they take the class outside so Soul and Maka can show them some flashy moves. One time the kids convinced Ms. Albarn to fly them around campus.
