Atlas the Astral Kitty

Atlas is the spirit of a cat that takes two separate forms depending on his energy. The first form he appeared to me as was a tiny black kitten. His second form is a black big cat (like a lion).

Atlas is my familiar now, if my witch friends and I are correct, and he helps me and a few of my witch friends with our magic, spirit work, and astral projection.

Atlas is a wonderful kitty, and I will probably post about him occasionally, so I figured I’d introduce him.

Introduction to the Grimoire Challenge 2020

The Grimoire Challenge 2020 is a challenge that this blog is hosting. It is a year-long, weekday-only grimoire creation challenge that will start on January 1, 2020.

This blog is inclusive and will not gatekeep those who can participate. We do ask that anyone who participates remains kind and respectful to others, but we will not be monitoring who participates. That’s just plain impossible.

This is not a competition! We’re here to work together and create some grimoires. We’re all going to be winners in the end, and there’s no “losing” this challenge, so have fun with it!

I’m So Happy

I’ve finally been able to feel a connection to Odin again after regaining enough energy to rebuild his shrine, and I couldn’t be happier about it!

Thank you to @anorthernwitch for having such a wonderful server and being so accepting! Their server gave me enough relief and excitement for witchcraft that I was able to rebuild the shrine much faster than if I had done it without the server!

Internet is Finally Back!

If you guys haven’t noticed, I’ve been even more inactive than usual lately. Well, that was because I had no WiFi in my new house, and a bunch of stuff happened that prevented me from getting WiFi for well over a week.

But, I have WiFi again! Yay! I’ll be able to post again!

I need some advice...please

My book of shadows is just a collection of scraps of paper and I want to actually take the time to write it all down in one place.

I am looking for a large book to do so, when I say large I mean like a foot tall ! Does anyone know where I can find something like that?

I’d highly recommend a good, large binder. If you can’t get something like that, there’s the occasional family history book or very old legal book that’s around that size. I know that much because my family had one before it got ruined in a flood.

But, seriously, a binder will save you a ton of trouble in the future if you want to re-organize, add more pages, or re-do any pages.

Tips for Witchblr Intros

If you want to make a witchblr intro, here’s a few tips I’ve received and some from my own experience.

Intro paragraphs are important. Sum up who you are and what your craft is all about in this paragraph.

Paragraph breaks are absolutely necessary. Make a paragraph break every time you change the topic.

TL;DRs are nice if you’re being especially wordy.

Pictures get you more exposure. Put a picture at the top if you want. It doesn’t have to relate to your craft. Here’s a good site to find some (Unsplash)

Put what you want to put. It doesn’t matter if you don’t think it’s needed. You should put anything you want. It’s your intro, and you can make it however you want to make it.

Have fun with it. If you want to add a ton of emojis or clipart, do it. If you want it to be minimalistic, go for it. It’s your intro, and it should be however you want it to be.

Well, that’s all the tips I really have, but I hope they help ^^

Healing Magick?

I’ve been pretty sick lately, so I’m looking into some healing magick. I’ll be compiling some posts based on my research if possible.

If you have any healing magick tips, please send me an ask, message me, reblog this post, or reply to this post!!!

Herbal remedies are also welcome along with the spells, rituals, etc.

If you have something that isn’t obviously magick or witchy, that’s even better, since I’m deep in the broom closet right now!

Just in case you guys were wondering/concerned, I am not sick! I’ve simply had a sore throat from my (extremely mild) allergies to various types of pollen, and am looking for a way to treat a minor sore throat, preferably without over-the-counter medications.

The reason I’m looking for an herbal remedy/some healing magick and not over-the-counter medication is because I can find alternate uses for herbs, but over-the-counter medicines normally just have a few uses, and none of them are witchy, and I want to be sure I can use all of whatever I buy.

Thank you very much for your concern @self-medicated-l0ve (Tumblr won’t let me tag you), but I promise I don’t need to see a doctor.
