YAY! I FIGURED OUT THE EYES 😂 Brendon Urie as Frank Sinatra for my last piece of the year.
I thought I should show you guys my progress! The picture on the left is from 2014 the first one I drew, the picture on the right is my latest work!
I have come a long way, and I should have improved much more, but my lazy ass didn’t practice enough! But it’s really rewarding to see the progress I made. Hope you guys think so too🖤

First time trying the grid technique and shadowing!! Really liked it, since I’m no good with proportions this method helps a lot. Go easy on me I can’t draw eyes to save my life
It is an unspoken rule that if a little kid is hiding under a blanket or couch cushions, you are required to comment on how lumpy the blanket is and pretend to sit on it to try and “smooth it out.”
Also, if you’re playing hide-and-seek with them, it is critical that you search every other possible (and impossible) hiding spot, all the while wondering out loud how they managed to disappear just like magic, before walking right past their hiding spot.
And if a baby starts playing peekaboo you are required to act surprised when they show their face again
If a kid hands you a phone, you answer it
If a kid shoots you with a Nerf Gun you are supposed to Die a dramatic death and explain “ugh you shot me blaahh”
when you push a kid on the swings ya gotta do the woosh
I literally just blocked about a dozen people on this post for being cranky about children.
Being a joyless shitbeast to kids isn’t cool. They’re kids. If you want to be Oscar the Grouch, that’s fine, but do it in a way they understand and explain it to them.
“I don’t want to play, I’m grumpy. Thank you, though, that was kind.”
It’s literally not hard. Kids are small people. Treat them with common fucking decency.
I don’t know why, but this made me think of Patrick Stump (as the kid and as the person playing with the kid)
This is my second time drawing with just face proportions, no other reference but the picture. Please take it easy on me...
Patrick Stump
That’s kind of a save. I had the draft and it was unfinished with just light pencil work. At least like this I can say it’s aesthetic hahha (nope)- as you can see I have problems with face features and I didn’t want to ruin it even more. Yep, it’s awful i know. But I cannot say I haven’t tried it
Sins 🖤

A reminder for the girls with big plans
To all the girls with big dreams, who have been told that they are ‘too preoccupied with success’, or that they are ‘too selfish’ or ‘too ambitious’ - do not listen to the people who speak those words. If you love something that much, and will pursue it to the ends of the earth, do not give it up for anyone. Hold it close to your heart and understand that you are not obligated to dim your sparkle for anybody. In your life, there will always be people who tell you that you are too much or too little. They will say a woman is too assertive, or too reserved. They will say she feels too little or too much, that ambition is selfish. They may even be hurt or offended that you do not think the same. Yet at the end of the day, know in your heart that you are the only one who will ever know whether you are truly enough and that is what’s important. Go out there and smash the glass ceiling to pieces.
Just the truth
