Can we get some casual agere appreciation?

Like, no this character isn't using a pacifier or gripping onto a plushie or padded or wearing childing clothing, but they are hiding behind their most trusted person in the friend group, either a parental figure or close friend, when things feel too big and new.

They aren't crying out for mommy or daddy, or throwing a tantrum, but they're sobbing to themselves in the middle of the night, clutching their pillow like a person, because everything feels too big and too much

They aren't burying themselves in pacifiers, teethers, or plushies, but they're chewing on their shirt or hand when they get anxious and hugging their pillow to their chest like a lifeline

CAN WE GET SOME MORE CASUAL AGERE??

shoutout to regressors who do things that aren't 'expected' for their age range !!

big kids and middle/teen regressors who use pacis or go padded or use kid-safe cutlery and dishes... little kids who like scary media or 'higher level' educational content or super loud angry music... big kids who wanna be coddled or listen to lullabies and watch shows like bluey... little kids who swear or wanna be independent and get their own food and drink... and everyone else !!!

They are exploring under the bed! This is normal stuffed animal behavior, as they are trained to protect you from monsters and shadow creatures, so it's natural that they want to keep an eye out. Don't be sad, thank your friend for doing such a good job.

⋱ ― ♱ . THINGS TO DO WITH YOUR REGRESSOR FOR BABYRE ♱

bottle feeding: you can find them a nice, safe bottle at the store! just make sure you know what liquids are safe for a bottle. you can also get them stickers to decorate the bottle with, or decorate the bottle for them! i feel like this might also be a really fun way to help littles on liquid diets eat (depending on what type of liquid diet they're on)!

swaddling: this is super easy, just get a big enough blanket (or blankets) and wrap them up all tight and cozy!

burping: bodily functions are completely normal and sometimes people need help burping, including baby regressors. rub their back in circular and vertical motions gently to help out.

make a nursery: now, this is kinda out of reach for most people in their physical house. BUT games like the sims exist and collages are also a great way to do this! you could also do it with magazines laying around if they wanted a physical collage of a nursery. you could then try to add things to your life related to the nursery like a DIY crib mobile or window clings and stuff

naptime: a lot of babies need naps, lots of rest is necessary to grow! make sure their sheets are clean when possible, get nightlights or noise machines. or find ambience on youtube to help!
