ATL vs. AVP

If you follow me on Tumblr, you know that I regularly make GIFs of music videos and I came across Something’s Gotta Give by All Time Low (uploaded to YouTube on January 12, 2015.) While listening to the song, I noticed that the music sounded a lot like Made For Me by Artist Vs Poet (uploaded to YouTube on April 8, 2014.) My question is: did All Time Low steal from Artist Vs Poet? Being that All Time Low is more popular than Artist Vs Poet, I doubt they will get in trouble for it if they really did take from AVP. There was a lawsuit against Jessie J back in 2012 for her song Domino from Will Loomis, citing copyright infringement yet his song sounded nothing like Domino. The similarities between Made For Me and Something’s Gotta Give are very close. Don’t get me wrong, I am a huge fan of All Time Low but i’m just very curious about this whole thing. I’m going to post links to both songs and you can tell me what you think.
