People 10 and 20 years older than me are writing your favorite fanfics, and drawing your favorite characters. You'd have no fandom without the people you think are 'too old' to have hobbies.
Who the heck do you think started modern day fandom with Star Trek? It sure wasn't teenagers.
Who do you think makes professional quality fanart and fanfic? People who've been practicing it for ten, fifteen, twenty years!
Or even people who've been practicing it for thirty, forty or fifty!!!!!

As a scriptwriter, she's also worked in fandoms like Scooby-Doo, Transformers, My Little Pony, Gargoyles, Batman: The Animated Series, Spiderman: Unlimited (and a trilogy of tie-in novels still in print) and Barbie: Fairytopia. ...And that's just cherry-picking her imdb page.
While she can't give out specific details due to Obvious Reasons, she's still active in the Sherlock BBC fandom - and there's a specific subset of her fans who love guessing which of the legendary fanfics might be her work (I am not one of them, BTW, as it is None Of My Business. I'm old-school that way).
Fandom is not for teenagers. Fandom is for everyone of good heart and enthusiasm for a good (or even bad! No judgement!) story.

I always have my (old but well thought) top 10 list laying around. Although I must tell you how hilarious the coincidence is between our top 10 cause...
You have Bunny Rabbot at Number 6 and I have Antoine at number 6! Talk about a match! (platonically of course. Just the two characters ends up together in the comics so the coincidence was just funny.)
And you put Cream so high too! :D You have excellent and distinct taste, that's what I needed to say. I have a lot of basic choices but I am very much not new to sonic, I played almost every games so there's some character I grew attached to more because of the amount of time I had to play as them over anything else. (Like Knuckles and Shadow).
Orbot and Cubot was because they were my only saving grace while I binged watch Sonic Doom Boom since they're the only characters that act and look identically in Sonic boom and the main series. Sonic Boom stole my wife and kids... you know the drill. So, that must be my wildest pick here...
And Antoine, but that's because I am French and so I relate to the French caricature, ironically. I should be offended but instead it makes me laugh so much. In a meta aspect mostly. But I am already rambling too much here so I won't go there.
Your wildest pick (besides Storm because everyone who follows us knows about this already I feel) is Mephiles and Charmy imo. Especially Mephiles, I didn't know you went into the sonic '06 rabbit hole so it caught me off guard. (Or you just thought his design and concept was cool which is very valid.)
Charmy just lots of people finds annoying. (But in crossworlds I still see more Charmy fans than Storm fans so maybe it ain't that wild either. Him being part of the Chaotix helps a lot and Vector's on your list so... :3)
I was gonna say that I doubt people will really be upset at your tier list and that you should make it because that's just your opinion in character taste, but then I thought of certain people in the fandom that could see it and, yup, talking about least liked characters in main tags is a dangerous topic around the "My Blorbo ♡" website. Practicing caution is good.

Ever had a moment when you were writing the next part of your fanfiction and then when a big moment comes up, the sentence right before it is then written and then cuts off because you can’t think of how to introduce the next bit. 🤭
