You're making a straight up ahistorical statement if you claim or imply that there's been no child exploitation in the development of what "lolicon" as a genre is. [don't read further if your day gets instantly worse talking or thinking about this]
And i'm not even talking about the Miyazaki murders, I'm referring to the countless photobooks of real children labeled as and for lolicon that are illegal to sell and own now because of the contents, and btw publications that are better at skirting the line still exist or at least circulate secondhand. The "lolicon lexicon" that had pictures of girls from the street who were either not consenting or pressured into participating in the photos. And the architects of the genre would go to other asian countries and exploit children there if they got the authorities or parents after them. Something that is still happening bc shocker a lot of people who do this harm go to other countries to take advantage of poverty and desperation that allows them to sexually exploit children by exchanging money in a weaker currency. This is why a lot of CSEM is specifically from the Philippines. Also crazy of anyone to claim that theres only a "possibility" of the material being used for grooming, there are known cases of it having been used for that purpose.
The following article contains discussions of adult-oriented media, CSEM, CSA, and other troubling subject matter pertaining to fictional an
only read this extremely long article if you're in a mentally somewhat OK space I was personally deeply affected but also i think its too nice to certain people and kind of neglect the fact that some of the publications it described very much advertised where one could meet children and i'm like not feeling really great typing all this out i'm likely not going to speak much more on this

Yeah, it's kind of funny that a lot of companies are now re-hiring junior programmers to save on LLM credits, but it's not surprising. From a pure line-goes-up perspective, working people to death is almost always better than automation. That isn't an indictment of LLMs in particular – it's just how this shit works.
Like, yeah, joke about the "self-driving car" service that turned out to be employing remote drivers in the Philippines if you want, but it's not only a tech grift; the fact of the matter is that even if the technology was there, making that guy in the Philippines pull sixteen-hour shifts with no bathroom breaks until he dies of a bladder infection is almost certainly cheaper than "real" AI would be, and that's the actual reason they do it. They wouldn't deliver on their promises even if they could.
