exploding with rage about what ""ai"" has done to online tutorials in general. you used to be able to look up how to do something and look at articles and videos that tell you what you need and how to do it. now it's all just fucking. ✨step one✨ figure out what materials you need. you have lots of options so do your research! ✨step two✨ gather your chosen materials! ✨step three✨ put them together however you like! and now you get to enjoy your new thingie! as if that's not the most useless bullshit excuse for a tutorial. and it's everything dude. it's sewing. it's woodworking. it's plumbing. it's lampshade building. i just want a sink that drains into a bucket. it shouldn't be this hard.

i have been encountering this too and have, to my great annoyance, ended up using youtube tutorials because i can limit the year of publication to before AI blew up. i used to almost never use youtube for this sort of thing, but i don't know how to find better options at this point. if anyone else does, please inform.
